Fantastic addition to our trip! We had a great time! We were given lessons before, so we could ride correctly! Would absolutely recommend!

Very welcoming people, the supervision was great and in small committee. Walk in the water and some very pleasant moments of trots (whereas I had never done one). Perhaps it would have been even better to share a moment before and after the ride with the horse.

I was a bit nervous about fronting up to this adventure by myself and unsure whether my intermediate riding skills would be up to the level of others in the group. I needn't have worried!! Padraic matched the riders perfectly with the horse he chose for each of us. I rode the wonderful black Irish cob, Skye, who looked after me every step of the way, as did Padraic. He is an enormously experienced , caring and talented horseman and guide. The horses who are beautifully looked after. I rode with two couples from the US (I'm Australian) . Between us we had a range of experience from relatively little to huge but we all had a fantastic time and got along very well. Padraic tailored the rides to suit the whole group despite our varied abilities. I can't speak highly enough of this riding holiday - lots of fun but always with the knowledge we were all in very safe and professional hands. Would love to go back again.

It was an incredible experience. Everyone was incredibly nice and patient. Emily and Alexander explained everything welll and took lovely care of us. The horses were very friendly and good natured and the route we took was very beautiful. It's the perfect activity for both first time riders and people with experience on horse back.

I couldn’t recommend this adventure enough! I took my 13 year old while we were visiting Westport. She adores riding, so this was her favorite part of the trip! The horses are well cared for and it showed with the ease of our ride. The guides (Emily and Travis) were knowledgeable about riding and the area! We enjoyed riding and chatting with them very much. The scenic route we took was breathtaking! I would recommend the afternoon time slot, as the tide is low and you can travel further out toward the bay. The nice lady at the office (Kitty) even organized a taxi for us when ours unexpectedly cancelled. Pat O’Malley kindly transported us to and from the stables. Great guy! Don’t pass this experience up!

We had the absolute best experience horseback riding in Westport! Cannot recommend this excursion, specifically with Emily, enough! This was the highlight of our Ireland trip!

Relaxing and enjoyable ride through the countryside and into the waters of the bay, horses are well trained and easy to get on with. Team at the stables was friendly and knowledgeable- great for beginner riders and children.
