5.00We chose Brasov as a weekend adventure for Christmas to visit the markets but on the Sunday morning wanted to do a tour to Bran Castle and to the Bear Sancturary. I’d done loads of research on the different tours and settled on this one. It didn’t disappoint at all! Alin got in touch the day before to double check a pick up point right next to our hotel. Alin was punctual, friendly and had lots of information/facts to share whilst driving to the bear sanctuary. He also gave some great tips for when we visited both places. we were picked up around 8:30 and were back around 2pm’ish. It was quieter because we came in December but didn’t skip anything out. The bear sanctuary was the highlight and something you should visit and support if you can! The tour has its heartbreaking moments, explaining why the bears are in the sanctuary, but you spirits are lifted when you see all the hard work and dedication from the team working there! You learn so much and get to see the bears up close safely, before they head back into their vast habitat. Alin even took us at the end, to a great view point overlooking Brasov for some more facts and to take pics, before dropping us off. I fully recommend this tour if you’re visiting and well worth the cost and experience! Alin is a great guide and driver!

5.00The trip to the bear sanctuary and Bran Castle was very enjoyable. The trip was very well organised and Alin contacted us before the trip to confirm the pick up point and time. During the journey Alin told us all about the bear sanctuary, and Bran castle. He also told us lots about the wild bears in Romania and the history of Transylvania. He showed us some other sights as we drove back to Brasov.

5.00The half-day trip to the bear sanctuary and the bran castle is highly recommended for anyone visiting the area around Braşov. The trip was perfectly planned - from being picked up at the hotel in time to being able to join the early, less crowded tour in the bear sanctuary. The friendly tour guide was able to share a lot of background information about the two destinations, and thanks to the small group size (4 people), also our questions could be answered individually.

5.00This was a great trip. Easy to book in advance and our guide, Alin, was helpful in arranging logistics with us in advance of the day, and advising us on tickets. Transport was very comfortable and Alin was a very helpful, relaxed and knowledgable guide. The bear sanctuary was a unique and amazing experience, and Bran castle was well worth the visit. We were given a lot of information on the journey, and had the opportunity to ask any questions. This was a lovely trip, well worth the cost. Thank you

5.00Our guide picked us up promptly near our apartment. He provided us with safe transportation, and enthusiastically shared his knowledge of the bear sanctuary, castle and Romanian life. He was open to answering all of our questions. We ended the tour with a lovely viewpoint of Brasov. We enjoyed being in a small group (3 others) and highly recommend this tour.
