Your private guide will drive your group through this breathtaking alpine tundra, seeking out iconic species like mountain goats, bears, elk, and wolves. Along the way, we’ll stop at some of the highway's most picturesque locations.
Guests will have many opportunities to step out, walk around, and capture unforgettable moments in the Rocky's wild beauty.
Morning tours include a picnic breakfast with muffins and doughnuts made locally as well as freshly brewed coffee.

What To Expect
Red Lodge
We'll start our morning by driving along the red-bricked buildings of downtown Red Lodge.
We'll explore the Montana side of the Beartooth Highway as we drive along steep switchbacks and look for chunky marmots.

5.00Our tour was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Itai was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the Beartooth Mountains and local history. We learned so much while taking in some of the most breathtaking scenery we’ve ever seen. The pace was perfect, plenty of time for photos, exploring, and just soaking in the views. Everything was well organized and comfortable, making it easy to just relax and enjoy the adventure. I can’t recommend Beartooth Tours enough! It’s a must-do experience if you’re in the area!

5.00This was a great tour. Iti knew all of the secret places we might have missed if we had driven this drive ourselves. The entire trip he watched for wildlife, and he knew the facts about Beartooth Highway. We asked many questions along the way, and he was able to answer all. Everything about this tour was comfortable and professional. We highly recommend this trip.

5.00This was the highlight of our Red Lodge vacation. We were a group of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 parents, and granddaughters ages 3 and 5). Itai was an extraordinary guide. His in-depth knowledge of the Beartooth Mountain area made our trip an experience to remember. We saw many marmots and on the way back to town stopped to view the mountain goats grazing near the side of the road. The trip was so enjoyable as Itai drove and provided information and history of the area, and most important was extremely patient with the young children. We would highly recommend others take this tour.

5.00As a mom of three kids with endless energy and short attention spans, I wasn’t sure how they’d handle a four-hour tour, but Itai, our guide with Beartooth Tours, made it an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped into the spacious and comfortable van, the kids were excited about the big windows and the chance to spot wildlife. Itai’s enthusiasm and knowledge of the Beartooth Highway kept everyone engaged as he shared fascinating stories about the area, pointed out animals like marmots and bison, and answered all the kids’ questions with so much patience and humor. The stunning views and dramatic landscapes along the highway were absolutely breathtaking, and Itai made sure every stop felt exciting and fun for the kids. By the time the tour was over, even my most restless child didn’t want it to end. It was the perfect mix of fun, learning, and adventure for the whole family.

Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating stories about the area while making sure we had plenty of time for photos and wildlife spotting. 5.00I’m an avid skier from Spain and I was traveling across North America to hit as many open ski resorts as possible this summer. I took a break from the slopes for a tour with E-ty along the Beartooth Highway, and it was one of the best decisions of my trip. The views were absolutely stunning, and E-ty’s knowledge of the area’s wildlife and history made it even more memorable. If you’re anywhere near Montana, don’t miss this tour!
