Great experience in visiting with our Guide Mark. When I travel to Asia, I need somebody that speaks English well. Mark not only speaks fluent English but he is very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. We really appreciated the stories of Chinese history and folklore. We really enjoyed our time with Mark and would highly recommend him to our family and friends or whoever wants to travel to China and especially in the Beijing area. The experience on the Great Wall is one for everyone as we all learned about it in school. It is a dream come true. Mark also pointed us to performances around Beijing.. when I travel I want to experience local culture. We did that. Mark went out of his way to take us on the metro and into the Beijing Olympics grounds to see from the outsidethe “birds nest” Arena and “ice cube” aquatic center. We also love strolling through certain parks to see the gentlemen playing Chinese chess and other activities. Thanks again Mark for a great trip.

We went with Ethan to the wall and to see the pandas at the Beijing zoo. He was a lot of fun to be with and helped us to find places where we could eat. We would highly recommend Ethan.

Touring Beijing, Xian and Guilin on privately guided tour for my wife and I. Visited the iconic Great Wall and Forbidden City along with other memorable places. There are many visitors but our guide Allan Shaw used his experience to minimize our wait times and enhance our visit. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and adjustable, doing all he could to make our visit the best. The hotel, New World Beijing, was excellent. The tour was well organised, always on time and flexible to suit our needs. One tip - don't expect normal internet service even with mobile data on local Sim on your Android phone. All in all. greatly enjoyed my trip to Beijing

Our 3-day tour in Beijing was an incredible experience, made even more memorable by our guide, Serena. From the very beginning, she impressed us with her excellent English and her ability to communicate clearly and effortlessly. Serena was incredibly patient and accommodating throughout the trip, always making sure we were comfortable, well taken care of, and enjoying every moment. She paid close attention to the little details that made a big difference, whether it was adjusting the pace to suit us or anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. What truly stood out was her deep knowledge of Beijing and China’s history. She brought each site to life with engaging stories and insights that gave us a much richer understanding of what we were seeing. At the same time, she kept things fun and personal by sharing her own experiences, which made the tour feel more authentic and relatable. Beyond her professionalism, Serena’s warm personality made her a joy to be around. We genuinely looked forward to spending each day with her. On the way to the train station for our next destination, she escorted us to the right train and made sure our luggages were stored properly on the train. We really appreciated her time and effort. By now we considered Serena to be a friend and not just a tour guide. We exchanged contact information and promised to stay in touch. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and we highly recommend Serena to anyone visiting Beijing. She truly elevated our entire trip and made it easy and memorable.

We joined a guided tour to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall with Jessica and a driver, who picked us up directly from our hotel ant 8:30 am and drove us to the entrance. From there, we took the visitor shuttle bus, we then walked to the cable car. All along the way Jessica shared fascinating facts about the history and significance of the Great Wall. Once at the top, she gave us free time to explore on our own. The wall can be walked up to a certain point, and visitors can decide how far to go depending on their fitness level before turning back. I recommend taking photos toward the end of the route, as there are fewer people and the views are spectacular. During the day we mentioned our interest in tea, and Jessica kindly suggested a stop at a traditional tea house on the way back. There we enjoyed a short presentation and tasting session. Afterward, we had lunch at a buffet restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes, including Western options, so everyone could find something they liked. In the afternoon, we were driven back to our hotel. Overall, the tour was well-organized, informative, and enjoyable. Jessica’s guidance, her knowledge of both the Great Wall and Beijing life, and her thoughtful touches made it a truly memorable experience.

I just wrote one: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helen our long lost friend From airport pickup to bullet train send-off, Helen went above and beyond. No long queues—she whisked us through like magic. Took us to our must-see spots: the “happy place” (yes, the bathroom 😂) and the jade factory. Cheerful, super informative, and felt like traveling with a bestie. If you want a stress-free, fun, and memorable Beijing trip, book Helen. She’s the real deal!

China highlights gave us an amazing well-rounded three day tour in Beijing. From airport pick up, to train seat drop off, it all went perfectly with no stress. We had all the time we needed for each location. Our guide Jason, was fantastic. He's patient, well informed, cheerful, flexible, organized, and we couldn't have gotten a better guide. He even brought us on a metro ride in Beijing, which was fun and much nicer than our New York City Metro. We got to the Great Wall very early so avoided the crowds. Same with other parts of the Tour. He had us avoid many lines by his skilled guide experience. Experience that Jason and China highlights gave us was very personalized and unique. We would highly recommend China highlights and Jason. Only regret is not spending even more time in Beijing. It is a wonderful city filled with numerous cultural sites great food and fairly easy access.
