We thank our guide Nina Yang for revealing the beauty of Beijing. The Forbidden City and the Summer Residence left a great impression. Thank you for the idea of our women dressing up in traditional clothes and giving them the opportunity to be real empresses. We were impressed by the restaurants reserved for us and of course the taste of Peking duck.

Our 6D5N trip was exhausting but incredibly rewarding. As soon as we landed at PEK, our guide William took excellent care of us—handling our luggage, securing a last-minute booking for the Beijing Royal Banquet Show, and always being available when we needed him. He’s a fantastic guide who brought each site to life with history and stories, kept the kids entertained, and even helped with our baby stroller so the adults could relax and enjoy the tour. He also arranged a complimentary extra stop at Beijing Zoo, which thrilled our kids because they got to see some of their favorite animals. We’re extremely satisfied with the experience and will definitely book with China Highlights—and William—again on our next trip to China.

William was nothing short of exceptional—kind, patient, and always accommodating to our last-minute changes throughout the trip. His knowledge of the places he brought us to was impressive, and he enriched our experience with insightful history about Beijing. We also truly enjoyed the casual chats on the bus, where he was always open to sharing and engaging in all sorts of topics. A special thank you as well to the tour group for kindly granting our kids’ request and arranging a complimentary visit to the Beijing Zoo. We highly recommend William to anyone visiting Beijing and looking for an excellent tour guide!

My family had a great tour of the Great Wall, hiking from Jiankou to Mutianyu with Mr Jiang as our guide. This hike was very well planned and we found it strenuous but very fun. The views were incredible and Mr Jiang gave us lots of information about the history of the Wall and its construction. I would highly recommend this trip and Mr Jiang as a guide to anyone looking for a challenging hike and a chance to see both the "wild" wall and the restored section.

If you’re thinking to visit China for the first time and you want to experience the type of traveling that suits you, I would recommend China Highlights as your trip operator. Started with the airport pick up, our tour guide, Mark, was already at the exit. Our first day itinerary was just a pick up and drop off, but Mark helped us finding a good hot pot place near our hotel and taking us on a special trip to the Olympic Park. We really appreciate his action beyond the program. I would recommend Mark as he is also very knowledgable and has good stories about the history of China. We really enjoyed our trip in Beijing.

We spent 4 amazing days in Beijing with Tina Yang as our tour guide and had an incredible experience. Tina made us feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire trip. She has a wealth of knowledge about Beijing’s history and culture and was very adaptable when we wanted to add other places to our itinerary. During our time there we visited Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, traditional hutongs, and the Great Wall of China. Tina truly knows the ins and outs of Beijing and helped us see more places than the average tourist while navigating everything efficiently. One of the highlights was exploring the hutongs and learning more about the traditional neighborhoods and local life in Beijing. Tina also introduced us to new foods and gave great recommendations beyond the tour itself, which made the experience even better. Overall, Tina made our trip unforgettable. If you’re visiting Beijing and want a knowledgeable, friendly, and flexible guide, we highly recommend Tina.

We had a fantastic visit with Jason! Not only was he knowledgeable, friendly, and a great photographer, he went above and beyond to take us on a nighttime bike tour, help us find a gym, and make us a fabulous dinner reservation. I’d highly recommend him and China Highlights for anyone visiting Beijing!

We only had a short time in Beijing and our guide Jason made sure we saw plenty of authentic off the beaten path corners of the city. We had a wonderful day at the great wall and a really special tea ceremony. Highly recommend!
