Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour as early as possible. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. Make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you’ll be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we’ll make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons from Mar to Nov and three persons from Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

In the morning, your guide will wait for you at your hotel lobby, and escort you on a comfortable ride to Tiananmen Square.
Tiananmen Square
Let’s stroll around the large urban square and shoot photos of the brilliant landmarks here. Note: To pass through the security check quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and carry only your passport and bottled water to go through the no-bag passage.

Helen was fantastic - on one of the coldest days of the year, she was cheerful and enthusiastic about the tour, while accommodating occasional warm-up breaks indoors. The additional stops for lunch at the jade shop and tea were welcome opportunities to buy a few souvenirs. I did not feel obligated to buy, and the products were good quality

5.00We had a great day on this tour with our guide Helen. She was very knowledgeable about Tienanmen Square, the Forbidden City and of course, the Great Wall. It is a long day but well worth it. Pick up was on time and the coach was comfortable. Entry to all three destinations was quick and well organised. The lunch provided was very good and had Meat & Veggie options. All in all a very well organised day.

5.00We had an incredible experience on the Best Mini Group: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square & Great Wall tour — and Rocky made it truly unforgettable! From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm and deep knowledge of Beijing’s history really stood out. He explained the historical significance of each site — from the vast expanse of Tiananmen Square to the imperial grandeur of the Forbidden City and the iconic Great Wall — in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. His commentary added so much meaning to every stop. What made the day even more special was how attentive Rocky was with photos. He took lots of beautiful pictures of us at all the best viewpoints so we didn’t have to worry about juggling cameras ourselves. Whether it was sweeping views of the Great Wall or the intricate details of ancient palace architecture, we ended up with so many great memories captured perfectly.
