Honestly there was almost too much food! By the final stop, we were stuffed and there was enough food to feed us as if it were the ONLY stop! Highly recommend, I enjoyed every stop, and the guide even buys you whatever drinks you want at any stop. Highly recommend :)

Fun evening trying various foods and meeting new people. Itinerary was spot on. Bonnie was our guide along with a lady just finishing her training. Both were excellent. Great fun and brought the evening to life. Would highly recommend.

Our guide Hai Tao scores 5 stars for speaking excellent English and he is so easy to understand. However we were hoping that more historical information could be injected into the tour. We took the tour that started at 6.30pm and by then, the hutongs were very dark and one could hardly see anything when walking through them. We recommend that any visitors interested in this tour book the one in the daytime. On this tour, we were taken to 4 restaurants and were literally served one full meal in each place. The food quality is good and the selection is varied. However it would have been much nicer if there were more stops with much smaller serving at each. Perhaps a total of 6-7 stops consisting of famous street snacks mixed in with restaurant specialities would be nice. I am sure the tourists will not mind standing on the street to sample some food, eg one Rolling Donkey to be shared between a few persons.

Really good tour. Get to taste four different plates at four different restaurants, each one from a different part of Beijing's culture and all very tasty! Guides also gave really good description of the history of the food and the Hutongs as we walked through the streets. Would definitely recommend doing this tour.
