We offer two options for this tour—both include a visit to the Great Wall and a cuddly panda encounter at Beijing Panda House (no need to fly to Chengdu). Please choose based on your preference when booking: Option 1: Mutianyu Great Wall – Beloved for its well-preserved architecture, lush scenery, and fewer crowds, it’s ideal for soaking in the grandeur of this ancient wonder. Option 2: Badaling Great Wall – Enjoy exclusive VIP access (special shuttle bus and cable car) to skip all lines, ensuring a smoother, hassle-free experience.
Mutianyu Great Wall
Your English - speaking guide and private car will pick you up in the lobby of your hotel bright and early. Since pandas are most active in the morning, our first stop will be the Panda House located in the western part of the city. The giant panda is the rarest member of the bear family and is among the world's most endangered animals. Listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union's (IUCN's) Red List of Threatened Species, there are only about 1,600 giant pandas left in the world, and you'll have the wonderful opportunity to observe some of them here. After the panda visit, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch, which will take around 40 minutes.

5.00We had such a great time and experience with our tour guide Christine. She was super sweet, attentive, and made everything so easy and enjoyable for us. She took us to the Panda House and the Great Wall of China, and made both experiences even more special with her knowledge and friendly vibe. She was always checking in on us and making sure we were comfortable. Honestly felt like we were exploring with a friend. Highly recommend her if you’re planning a trip

5.00We had an unforgettable experience on this tour and it is due to Lily being an amazing tour guide! From the start, she greeted us with a warm welcome and made sure we knew the plan for the day. We were able to see all the pandas at the Beijing Zoo since Lily knew the best time of day to visit. Our photos and videos from The Great Wall were breathtaking since she made sure we stopped at all the right spots. On the way back to our hotel, we even made an unplanned stop at a tea house since Lily knew we enjoyed tea and this was another great experience. All in all, we had a wonderful day full of memories for a lifetime and we owe a special thank you to Lily for her care of us during our trip to Beijing. My mom wanted to give her 10 stars!

5.00I had an amazing experience on our Viator tour to Mutianyu Great Wall and the Panda House in Beijing, all thanks to our incredible guide, Mina. From the very start, everything was seamless — Mina picked us up directly from our hotel, which made the day completely stress-free. The van was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for the journey. What truly stood out was Mina herself. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and shared so many fascinating details about the Great Wall, its history, and the significance of the Mutianyu section. At the Panda House, she continued to impress with her insights, making the visit even more meaningful. Throughout the entire tour, she kept us well-informed about the schedule, what to expect next, and made sure we were comfortable at all times. 5.00This was a very enjoyable and memorable experience. Allen was our tour guide today and he was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the day. Our trip involved a visit to the panda house followed by a jade stone tour and lunch. Afterwards was a visit/ stroll to the Great Wall and ended the day with a tea ceremony experience. Overall the day was great and went smoothly and appreciate Allen’s efforts and helpfulness. Highly recommended.
