At the chosen time we'll meet at the San Francisco de Portimão dock and board a boat to sail off on our sunset tour.
We'll spend one hour and half sailing the Atlantic Ocean as we head towards the famous Benagil Cave, one of the most fascinating places in this part of southern Portugal. Get your cameras ready!
As night begins to fall, we'll marvel at a breathtaking sunset over the magnificent landscape. We'll also get to admire the Alfanzina Lighthouse as we approach Benagil Beach, one of the special places on the Algarve coast.
Allocation of reserves is automatic. If you make individual reservations but are part of a group, let us know which reservations belong to your group
We inform our customers that our life jackets are automatic, purposely and improperly bursting them will incur an additional cost of €70 per life jacket, paid at the boarding point

5.00It was a great experience. I felt safe and reassured. Theodore, was an excellent guide and worked well with David, the captain. You got to see a lot of the major sites and caves along the algarve. The sunset was stunning and there was plenty time to take pictures at each place we stopped. I recommend bringing a light jacket or scarl for the sunset tour as it was very windy and you are likely to get slightly sprayed by sea water.

2.00The tour was advertised as a sunset tour starting at 19:30, but it began with a delay of 40 minutes, starting only at 20:10. By the time we departed, the sun had already set, and we missed the key aspect of a "sunset tour." Due to the late start, some of the caves were visited in complete darkness, including the Benagil cave, making it very difficult to see anything. Furthermore, the tour lasted only 1 hour instead of the advertised 1.5 hours. It felt rushed, likely in an attempt to make up for the initial delay. All in all the tour did not match the description and key elements were missed - we don‘t recommend it.

5.00I’m not particularly comfortable on the water: being on a boat knowing I’m a poor swimmer scares me a little. And yet... I took great pleasure! Everything was done safely, and the pilot took great care of his passengers. We had the chance to make the excursion at the end of the day, which allowed us to enjoy not only the beautiful caves of Benagil, but also a breathtaking sunset... and even a 98% illuminated moon, which we first took for a full moon! The weather was perfect. We savored every moment: a walk punctuated by stops to immortalize the landscape with splendid photos and breathtaking panoramas. The sun has finally disappeared on the horizon to our applause. A top team! Many thanks to the guide and pilot duo Carruche and Jorge for their humor and professionalism. I recommend 300%: this is a cruise not to be missed!
