This trip of around two hours and thirty minutes, departing from the Marina of Portimão, offers two magnificent experiences: the observation of cetaceans (dolphins and whales) and the observation of our Algarve coast with a visit to the famous Benagil Cave.
To enhance your experience, we have a highly qualified marine biologist on board. This specialized multilingual professional (Portuguese, English, French, and Spanish) will be available to share their extensive knowledge about cetaceans, seabirds in the region, as well as marine life, and the local ecosystem, ensuring that all our passengers can fully understand and appreciate the wonderful marine life. Feel free to ask questions as our marine biologist will be at your disposal to answer any inquiries you may have.

Due to local regulations, the vessel can only remain in the Benagil Caves for a few minutes. It is not permitted to leave the vessel.

What To Expect
Join us for a boat trip lasting up to 2.5 hours through the Benagil Caves, but that's not all! Guided by a multilingual marine biologist, in the middle of an endless blue, we will search for the most emblematic animals in the world, dolphins. On this tour along our coast, we can see 6 species of dolphins and 3 species of whales that will provide you with strong and unforgettable emotions. Continuing our trip, we show you some of the most beautiful rock formations in the world, including the famous “Algar de Benagil” cave. Note: Entry to the caves and swimming stop are subject to closures or sea conditions.

4.00An amazing experience. The rock formations on the coast and the caves were spectacular. The dolphins were entertaining although few and far between. What stopped me from giving this five stars is the fact that there was no safety briefing. Having had experience of the open sea in small boats I would have thought that the safety of the fifty or so people on board would be a priority.

5.00The trip was one of the best trips we have done in the Algarve It was magical. We loved the experience of seeing the dolphins and couldn’t believe how many we saw. It was so lovely to see them all around us playing in their natural habitats In addition we spotted the Sei Whale which was unbelievable. To finish we saw benegil cave. Truly a very memorable trip thank you so much for this magical experience.

5.00Wonderful experience. We have seen 3 different dolphin species. All right on the boat. This is very comfortable and has a toilet. The caves were also spectacular, especially in the happy evening sun
