What To Expect
Enter the famous Benagil cave and witness one of the most emblematic beaches in Portugal, Praia da Marinha! We depart from Parchal, Lagoa and sail along the east coast where you will see spectacular rock formations sculpted by erosion over the centuries, such as arches, caves and sinkholes. Depending on the tide level, we can enter many of them with our boat, always in maximum safety! Expect a small group, family atmosphere, a friendly and knowledgeable crew, and a multilingual guide who will discuss the region's culture, geology, and marine ecosystem throughout the tour. For bird lovers, you can observe several marine species, such as the “Great Cormorant” (*Phalacrocorax aristotelis*) and the “Peregrine Falcon” (*Falco peregrinus*). Before returning to the Lagoon and if the sea and weather conditions are favorable, we take a break to swim off the coast of a calm bay. The Benagil cave is recognized worldwide for its uniqueness. 5.00It was a super fun excursion, they sat the children in front and Daniela interacted a lot with them and with us. The brilliant Captain Pedro also stopped a lot inside the caves. When sailing it was super fast and we were able to enjoy it a lot. Recommended 💯 Olga

5.00Thanks to Daniela and Sarah our guides and the wonderful,good looking Skipper whose name I forget, apologies. This was a wonderful ride, thanks to Daniela expertise as a marine biologist, we learnt a lot. Treasure caves to be conserved, please listen to our experts. I was apprehensive of water, I had no fear, no sickness and wanted more at the end - applies to my whole family. Many thanks again. One thing though which bothered us when we left. We were unsure whether to tip these three superb riders, please put a comment on this, as we were not sure of implications it might have posed.

5.00Small group boat cruise. A big thank you to Daniela, our multilingual guide who is very interesting and has a lot of humor as well as to Juan, our pilot. You have superb views of the different beaches, caves and cliffs of the coast between Portimao and Marinha beach - Unesco Heritage. To do.

5.00Daniela is the best guide you can have on the route of the caves and Benagil in Portimão. She knows perfectly well the place, the history, she is a biologist, therefore also the scientific data. It is also super friendly, and speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish, it suits everyone! The route is spectacular, full of contrasts and you enter the best caves. At the beginning or end of summer it is better, as July and August there are many people. Thanks for the experience 😉

5.00Must see when you are in Ferragudo! We even were so lucky to spot a few dolphins around our boat. Great Captain, excellent recommendations for restaurants (Sueste is the place to be for the best fish ever!!) The boat was great and fast if it needed to be. We were with a group of six friends and we had a great time!!

5.00We have been received very kindly and have seen a lot! The crew is very attentive and we even got small snacks. The caves are very varied and the captain tells and translates a lot about it. The atmosphere was great and the value for money was right!
