What To Expect

Osum Canyon (Kanioni i Osumit)

We start to travel to Osumi Canyons by minivan. It is about a 60 km drive and takes 1,5 - 2 hours with a short break. Start point? Your guide will collect you from Berat city close to your hotel. Finish point? At the end of your trip you will be returned to Berat city close to your hotel. No previous experience is needed, however a moderate level of fitness is required along with the ability to swim. Each visitor should wear: - bath suit - old sneakers or sandals - sport’s wear (T-shirt, sportive trousers) You should take with yourself - towel - warm clothes to be changed - old sneakers or sandals to change at the end of the trip

Positive points: the nature and canyoning experience is really worth. The tour is well organized and the guide Henry was really friendly. Points to improve: the equipment provided needs to be improved. This is particularly important for the old, damaged and dirty water shoes provided. And the water “tshirt” is useless as the water gets in and stays in, should be replaced with upper or full wetsuit. Asides from the equipment, the description is not correct. This tour ONLY includes the canyon and not all the other things mentioned. Please adjust description. Comparing to other competitors which combine this tour with Bogova waterfall, I consider this tour too expensive.

Fun journey in 4x4s to the canyon. All the local history tour guides were really knowledgeable on! The whole canyon experience was incredible and enjoyed some down time afterwards with a group lunch together. Thank you!
