Arrival at Zriba Ollya. Immediate immersion in the unique atmosphere of this ghost village. Discovered on foot its steep and silent alleys, its deserted cave dwellings and its stone buttons snuggled against each other, offering a poignant testimony to a bygone way of life. The view of the surrounding mountains is breathtaking and mystical. A tasting in the heart of the authentic. Striking contrast! You will be greeted by locals in a restored house or on a furnished terrace with breathtaking views for a friendly tasting of local products. This taste break brings life back to life instead of a moment: · Berber tea (pine) or traditional coffee, served with legendary Tunisian hospitality. · Traditional bread baked over wood fire. · Olive oil from the region. · Mountain honey with unique aromas
The Water Temple
Visit the Temple of Waters, an exceptional Roman archaeological site where the ingenuity of the ancient hydraulic systems will impress you. Nestled at the foot of the mountain, this sacred place was once a place of worship dedicated to nymphs and testifies to Tunisia’s rich past.

The pickup well organized with notifications on WhatsApp prior to the trip. The guide dealt well with a mixture of French and English customers. The trip to the Berber was interesting and the guide explained the history well( make sure you have decent footwear) There are great views. The brunch was at well Centre where a traditional Tunisian meal that was a lot substantial than expected, Olive production was explained as they produce this at the Centre along with honey. We then moved onto to the Water temple (can’t remember the name), this is where the famous water viaduct starts. All in all the trip was well worth the price.

The organization left something to be desired. The excursion was rescheduled at the last minute the night before due to insufficient participants. I had to follow up several times with the organizer to get the information. On the day of the excursion, the driver arrived 30 minutes late, and once again, I had to contact the organizer to get the information, as I saw no one arriving. There was only a driver, but no guide, which was not clearly stated in the excursion description. The driver was able to share some details, but generally, the visits are done independently, which is unfortunate because you miss out on a lot of information, especially in the Berber village. The village is very beautiful and the visit is very pleasant, but it lacks explanatory signs or a guide to explain the Berber way of life. The visit to the water temple is quick and not a must-see. The brunch was good and in a pleasant setting, but clearly water had not been provided as we were not served any while it was hot. Overall, it was a rather mixed day. The village of Zriba Olya is worth visiting, but it will likely be cheaper and more convenient to get there on your own.

Friendly guide, great views and explanations about Tunisian culture/history, and delicious brunch! Pick-up was on time and duration was as expected. Would recommend for people who want to get off the well-beaten tourist track and see some new areas of Tunisia.
