What To Expect
The opportunity to visit an original section of the vast underground bunker complex buried deep below the former compound; explore the meandering labyrinth of twisting tunnels and cavernous chambers.
The tour includes a driving tour of the Obersalzberg mountainside with detailed historical commentary throughout, pointing out the most historically significant locations, including: - the site of Hermann Göring's former home, - Albert Speer's former home and studio, - the former RSD Headquarters, - the former SS officers' housing. 5.00Tom was very knowledgable and it was obvious he has lived in the area for quite some time and gotten to know the area and history thoroughly. He was kind enough to pick us up at the bus station before our tour and drop us off at a location for lunch at the end of the tour. Definitely a 5 star experience that I would recommend to anyone.

My three sons and their wives would agree; in fact, one son commented this half-day tour with Tom was the highlight of our two weeks in Europe. Tom was knowledgeable, personable, and shared visual photos and actual sites for events we had only read about. My family and I all highly recommend this tour with Tom Lewis!

5.00Tom was just an outstanding tour guide! I’m an amateur history buff and thought I knew a lot about the area and topic but Tom blew me away! He knew things I never heard of and showed us areas we wouldn’t see on a regular tour. He not only knew the history he actually lives in the area in former WW2 housing and his personal connection with former inhabitants, wartime visitors and documents/pictures blew me away! A definite must for those wanting to learn more than they thought they knew about the history of the place! Thanks Tom for a once in a lifetime experience!
