Morning tea includes plunger coffee, black leaf tea or peppermint tea, sugar and local full cream milk from Tilba Dairy. We include seasonal fruit and a sweet treat Blend Cafe as well as fruit juice. Special dietary requirements can be catered for upon request, just let us know at time of booking.

What To Expect

Join us for a leisurely kayak up the Bermagui River and back. Pass mangroves where we often see herons foraging on the shoreline and cormorants drying their wings on tree branches. Further up river, we’ll make time to take in the natural surroundings and listen to the tranquil sound of the bell birds. We’ll stop along the river bank for morning tea break and if the weather is lovely, perhaps even a swim before heading back to where we started.

Great kayak tour on the Bermagui river - stunning mangroves and eucalyptus forests. We saw several sea eagles. Knowledgeable guide.

We just finished a most delightful 3 hour tour with Guide David and it exceeded my expectations. the water was so clear and the natural environment made for such a peaceful paddle. David and the team had everything sorted from tasty, fresh fruit and yummy snacks (even a birthday cake for me). dietary requirements were so easily catered for and the equipment was clearly well cared for. I absolutely recommend Navigate Expeditions if you want to explore the local nature.

Great experience even though the recent weather had made the river very murky. Morning tea was a nice touch. Adventure was very relaxing and tranquil. No kayaking skills necessary Sampled salted Asparagus from the mangroves area. Saw a few different birds in flight - crabs- sting rays - oyster farms Lawerence our tour guide came with a lot of experience and knowledge .. many interesting stories Money well spent. Thank you for the memories Lawerence is an asset to this business and is worth his weight in dollars … LAWRENCE DESERVES A ‘PAYRISE’ 😝

We had a wonderful Kayak / paddle along the Bermagui River. Our guide David was friendly, knowledgeable and amazing with our two kids (one with disability). Morning tea and home made chocolate brownies were delicious and they even catered for GF /DF! The length was perfect and we loved learning about local wildlife. Would happily recommend.

Jess provided a fantastic morning on the water for this bunch of novice (bar one) kayakers. Such a calm and relaxing experience and a delicious morning tea was provided as well. Jess and Johan were great guides and full of useful tips and local knowledge. Thanks Jess!
