It has been a very interesting tour. It showed me the best of Detroit through a nice walk. Kasie was extrordinary kind and very informative. Highly recommended when in Detroit.

Kacie is a nice girl. She is not very experienced at dealing with the public, Im guessing. She speaks too quietly and not very clearly. Despite some awful weather which made our tour a bit miserable there really wasn't much energy from her to give it any enjoyment. Very expensive waste of time. I was really disappointed - its the only reason Im writing the review.

Very disappointed. The tour guide was very sweet however very soft spoken. Couldn’t hear most of what she was saying. The tour claims 19 stops with admission, most of the stops are outdoor sculptures and the buildings that we went into were free (Huntington Place, GMC, Guardian, and Book Tower). Also the ad claims 10,000 steps we only recorded 6,000. Total tour was around 2 hours. I don’t normally write reviews but I think this was not worth the price and would hate for another tourist to experience.

Loved the history of Detroit. Also saw Ford Field and enjoyed Corktown. Train Station renovation is amazing.

The tour itself, where we went, and what we saw was good. And our tour guide was very sweet and hard-working, but her overall knowledge of Detroit and its history was not strong. This was not an inexpensive tour, and both my husband and I were disappointed in the tour guide’s ability to answer some basic questions. It sounded like she was a new tour guide, and if that’s the case, your company should make sure that she’s really ready to fly solo. She she seems bright and articulate, but not fully prepared. You should send her out on a tour with someone else until she’s ready to go by herself. She had her cheat sheet with her, but I think she felt awkward using it. Overall, we liked her, and we liked the tour. But we felt that we overpaid for what we got.
