5.00This was an incredible food tour and I highly recommend it. First of all, it is in an area of Singapore that doesn’t have a lot of tourists so you get a more local, authentic experience. Secondly, the tour guide has worked in the neighborhood and personally found and experienced the restaurants and food stalls so he has great “hands on” experience and isn’t simply following a standard routing like in many more touristy areas. Finally, he adapted the tour to my preferences letting me decide which items to try and asking if there were any specific foods I would like him to find (even if not on the original plan). The combination of knowledge, flexibility and authenticity made this one of the best food tours I have ever experienced.

5.00Host was extremely knowledgeable and humorous and had a deep passion for the area, peppering his tour with engaging anecdotes, rich history and jokes. Would definitely recommend this intimate tour of a lesser known area of Singapore to both non locals and locals alike. Discovered many new facets of Balestier and tastebuds were definitely tantalised with the wide array of local eats. Thumbs up!
