What To Expect
Parque Seminario
We begin the tour in the famous Seminario Park, also known as Iguana Park. This small but emblematic park is home to numerous iguanas that roam freely among visitors. Here you can observe these fascinating reptiles up close, feed them and even take some photos with them.
Plaza de la Administracion.
Mayor's Office and Administration Square: We continue our tour towards the Administration Square, where the Guayaquil Mayor's Office building is located. This place is an administrative center and an important historical point of the city. The square is adorned with statues and gardens, and is a great place to learn about local history and admire the neoclassical architecture of the Municipal Palace.

5.00We can’t say enough about Francisco and Pro trips! Our stay in Guyaquil Ecuador was made incredibly special because of him and his team, do not hesitate to book this tour. You feel safe, taken care of and you get a great feel for such a beautiful city and wonderful people. We experienced just about everything we could and he even threw in food and fun! You will leave this city with a great feeling, and will always remember this day! Shout out to Andrew our driver, comfortable and beautiful van. All around it was excellent. 5.00Francisco of Trip pro was incredible. He tailored made our itinerary for our family of 6. We had 6 and 8 year old boys that climbed the giant iguana , tasted the local fruit in the fruit market , and fed the iguana’s The adults and children enjoyed the local fish soup for breakfast with some great lemonade . We wanted to visit the cathedral and go to the local craft market . The Poma cable car was a great way to see and hear about the history of Guayaquil. Wonderful trip ! Highly recommend .

5.00⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent 5 stars! We had heard that Guayaquil wasn’t safe and that we should just stay at our hotel, but we really wanted to experience the city for ourselves. Our hotel recommended Francisco Galvez, and we truly couldn’t be happier that they did. From the moment we met him, we felt completely safe the entire time. Francisco gave us insights into the city that we never would have gotten on our own, sharing history, culture, and local perspectives in a way that made everything come alive. He was clearly happy and proud of his city, and that passion really showed throughout the tour. He also went out of his way to make the experience personal and memorable, even offering to take many pictures of us along the way, which we really appreciated. The whole experience was fun, informative, and absolutely worthwhile. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Guayaquil!

There are so many beautiful things to see in Guayaquil and Francisco managed to fit it all in and gave us lots of history of the area, I definitely recommend this tour!

5.00We took this tour with Francisco Galvez with ProTrip and had a very nice time. Francisco was fun, informative, passionate about Guayaquil and Ecuador, and excellent with our family with 2 small kids (ages 5, 9). He was flexible with the itinerary from the very beginning and had several options to meet what we were interested in and what the children would tolerate. We loved that this private tour came with Francisco and a driver, which we didn't expect. It meant they during the short van rides from site to site, Francisco could engage with us without distraction. It made this tour really stand out against others we have taken in other places. The price felt like a very good value. Booking this tour is a great option, don't hesitate.

5.00Francisco Galvez with Protrip was one of the best local guides I've ever had, and I've traveled all over the world. I was in Guayaquil with National Geographic/Lindblad for a Galapagos cruise. Francisco was very knowledgeable, friendly, sought input from the group as to our interests, and made adjustments as our energy waxed and waned throughout the day. He took us to local markets to experience life as the people here experience it and gave us samples of local fruits and foods. Francisco has a generous, open energy about him and he loved sharing his country and culture with us. He was a fabulous ambassador for Guayaquil and Ecuador. Francisco certainly went the extra mile for our tour. I very highly recommend Fransisco and Protrip. Francisco told us that Protrip provides tours all over Ecuador.
