What To Expect
Parque Seminario
We begin the tour in the famous Seminario Park, also known as Iguana Park. This small but emblematic park is home to numerous iguanas that roam freely among visitors. Here you can observe these fascinating reptiles up close, feed them and even take some photos with them.
Plaza de la Administracion.
Mayor's Office and Administration Square: We continue our tour towards the Administration Square, where the Guayaquil Mayor's Office building is located. This place is an administrative center and an important historical point of the city. The square is adorned with statues and gardens, and is a great place to learn about local history and admire the neoclassical architecture of the Municipal Palace.

5.00My husband and I came to Ecuador for a wedding and decided last minute to book a tour. We are sooo happy we found Francisco! We only had 1 day to explore the city and him and Andrew took us all over and even went out of their way to take us to extra stops that included the wedding venue! They truly went above and beyond for us and we left with an all new appreciation for Ecuador/Guayaquil.

5.00Francisco, our guide, & Andrew, our driver, arrived promptly at our hotel lobby for a customized tour for my husband and I. Francisco’s energy, enthusiasm, & knowledge of his country are vast. And Francisco must know everyone in Ecuador! We arrived a day early to Guayaquil for an organized 12 day tour with a big tour company, so we wanted to see & do things in the city that we would not do with our big group. So I showed Francisco our agenda and he made sure to not duplicate any of those, taking us to highlights we would have otherwise missed. Great mix of sites & food — oh the food! And because we were in a private car, we were able to traverse a wide area efficiently. Fun fun day! We travel a lot and these folks are excellent. Highly recommend them!

5.00I love that the tour guide Julio Rosas and driver took their time to show us the city. I especially enjoyed the cable car that took us across the Guaya River as I was able to see the city from another angle. Going to the Santa Ana Port area was unique seeing antique homes and the contrast of modern structures in the same area.

5.00Great City tour. Our tour guide Francisco is a wealth of knowledge about this City and country in general. He showed us the highlights of the City, cacao and coffee shops. Picked a great place for lunch. I highly recommend this tour and plan to come a day early if you depart for a Galapagos expedition like we did.

5.00We planned an extra day on the front end of a cruise, and booked this tour based on the TripAdvisor reviews. It did not disappoint! Antonio was our guide and he knows his city and its history very well. Our tour lasted four hours from the time he picked us up at our hotel, and every minute of it was filled with historical education, political tidbits and his personal experiences. Advice: comfortable walking shoes, hat and sunglasses and lots of water. It was very hot and humid! Would highly recommend if you are interested in a shorter day vs. going to the mountains or the cacao farm.
