5.00Organised the trip at very short notice and found the "Travels In China" website that had customisable tours for the Zhangjiajie area. They sent an initial itinerary, but happily adjusted when we saw we had a further full day to use. Picked up from the airport by our guide, Lucky, who then looked after us for our entire trip. She was very knowledgeable about the area and it's history. She knew all the best places to go and actively encouraged us to do more of the hikes to scenery than were on the itinerary. She even made slight adjustments to timings so that we got to see more of the important sights at the best times. Lastly, she knew lots of the best local restaurants to make sure we were well fed. Lunches each day, included in the tour, were excellent, and there was no shortage of food. Honestly, some nights we only required a small or even no meal. Thanks for a great tour, Lucky. We won't forget it.

4.00The tour was fun, we saw a lot of incredible stuff and everything went smoothly. Particularly Karen was a fantastic guide. The only downside is that it was falsely advertised as a mini tour group of a maximum of 8 people. On day 1 we had 13 people and on day 2 we had 12.
