On this full day private tour we start with the world renowned spring flower exhibition at the Keukenhof: Millions of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths display their vibrant colors in this huge landscaped garden in English style.

As we start the day early we beat the crowds and can wander the park at leisure to enjoy the many flower exhibitions!

After lunch we visit your own choice of Dutch heritage:

* Delft and the famous pottery fatory, the streets of Vermeer and the grave of William of Orange

* Windmills in UNESCO site Kinderdijk or Zaanse Schans

Sarah was a marvelous guide, providing historic and natural historic context, as well as personal anecdotes throughout our day of touring. Every need a traveller might have was met and we were delighted with the personal service that we experienced. My husband's physical limitations were addressed and we were made to feel comfortable throughout the tour. We were delighted to attend a small, exquisite museum, that on our own we would never have found. It was a great day. Every request was met and we are so grateful for the wonderful planning and outcomes of our touring experience with Dutch Tours.

Being one of the first visitors to Kuekenhof early morning before the hoards of tourists arrive is worth the early pick up time! Eva with Dutch Tours provided friendly and educational service for our ideal day in the Netherlands. We spent the morning admiring flowers at Kuekenhof and also Eva took us to the booth for ordering flower bulbs to ship home. They harvest that season's bulbs in July and ship at the end of September for planting in October. Don't forget to tell them you are with a guide from Dutch Tours to get your free special gift sent with your bulbs! Next stop was Kinderdijk, a UNESCO site of 19 working windmills. We asked to stop at Bloesomepark (on our trip back to Amsterdam city center) to see the beautiful 400 cherry trees in bloom! Bonus, you have a photographer to take pictures of your private group in the most beautiful settings of flowers and windmills. If you have 1 day or 5 to see the Netherlands, I highly recommend the private tour with Dutch Tours.
