• A nice way to visit Andros

  Our Fotis guide was great! He knows the island of Andros and its history as his pocket, we learned a lot about this beautiful island. On top of that, Fotis is a very good driver, even on the few winding roads he performed like a chef. On the visit: the option to pick us up at our residence is a real advantage. We loved visiting the beautiful Chora, and had a real crush on the Monastery. Only 2 suggestions to improve the experience: it would be nice to have 30 minutes of "free time" in Chora, and it would also be great to be able to stop for lunch in Menites (where two beautiful restaurants in the shade of the trees made you want). Thanks again to Explore Andros for a great day!

  Had a fabulous full day private tour of the island with Achilles. Our itinerary was customised to what we wanted to see and he was very knowledgeable of Andros. We were picked up and dropped off at our accommodation in Batsi and the communication was excellent. Highly recommended!

  We had such a great experience with Explore Andros. I would highly recommend them. Our guide, Achilleas, was so much fun to talk to and so informative. We took the tour with our two kids, ages 8 and 10, and they loved him. His English is excellent and we learned a lot. The company was also very nice about tailoring the experience to what we wanted to see and to what we thought the kids could handle since they were still dealing with jet lag. Communication setting it up was easy. Would definitely reach out to them for anything you are interested in seeing on Andros.

  We had a thoroughly enjoyable trip with a very pleasant and knowledgeable local guide around the nearby villages and countryside around Andros town, and the south of the island.   Fantastic tour, learned so much about the area around Chora by visiting tiny villages, springs, a waterfall, a monastery and caves. All in one day! Flexible programme for the day and saw some beautiful historic areas, not rushed at all. The roads up into the hills gave us brilliant views down over Chora.   Perfect way to end our short time in Greece. Corina drove us around to hard to reach sights on Andros. We finished the day with a swim at a beach tucked away behind a cliff. Corina was chill and we spoke about life, politics, art, food, and even plants, for many hours. The tour never felt forced or rushed. If you choose this tour be sure to let your guide know your interests. They will make sure it's a great day.

  Excellent day guided by the kind and professional Stephanie very attentive to our questions. We visited small picturesque villages. Beautiful landscapes both inside the island and by the sea. Historical explanations at each site very interesting. Thank you Stephanie We recommend.

  This was our first trip to Andros and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay/activities with Explore Andros. This is a family run local business and they are really passionate about what they do. Christos took us on the tour of the island and it felt so personal and not at all touristy. We loved eating at their Juice bar "Fresco" and enjoyed a comfortable stay at one of their properties. My kids loved petting the resident dog Sheldon. I went back and forth with the activities (due to weather) and Christos was very patient and understanding. At the last minute, he was able to arrange the rock climbing excursion with Adam so the kids wouldn't be disappointed. Adam is such an experienced climber and was so good with kids - giving them tips and encouraging them to climb higher. Christos and his entire team really care about their customers and provide the highest level of service. They take pride in doing their job and showing everything that Andros has to offer.
