  We had already done a few hikes on the island of Andros but with a guide just for us, it's something else! Ariana is untappable on the island, its history, nature and she shares her knowledge with passion. She adapts without problems to her audience and did not hesitate to change a little the end of the course for us who preferred to end up in Chora and not on the beach. And then she speaks very good French which really allowed us to have fluid exchanges and enjoy the smallest details! Beyond her impressive culture, she is very friendly, offered us cupcakes and above all gave us tips on our next activities which turned out to be very good! Anyway, it was great!

  This was the best day of our holiday. Ariana is an incredible guide: knowledgeable, passionate, thoughtful and charismatic. We learnt so much about the island and its people, but our conversations went far beyond that - a truly life-enhancing experience. Highly recommended.

  Ariana was wonderful, experienced and very professional. He made sure to adapt the route to the level of our group so that everyone could enjoy it, even the children and teenagers in the group! It was a fantastic hike! For sure if we come to Andros again we will trust Ariana again for the organization of yet another unique and unforgettable hike! Thank you Ariana!

  Our one-day excursion turned into a wonderful experience, as we enjoy the journey from the first minute! We walked through the beautiful nature of Andros, from the mountain to the sea. At the top of the mountain we heard the clear water running, we saw a small waterfall, we drank from this hot water(!), we learned a lot about the history and folklore of the island but also about its plants and flowers! Our drivers, Arianna and Thanasis, are truly amazing! In addition to knowledge, they have real love and passion for what they do! Thank you for seeing you again!!!

  Arianna is the first name of the female guide of One Foot Forward group. Arianna will naturally and effortlessly gain your sentiment criterion with her emerging warmness and sincere smile. Moreover, she has deep knowledge of the forest paths of Andros island. Will also provide you with information about the plants you will meet. In addition to these, Arianna will talk you for the history of the place. Not to forget about the brunch which is rich, local, and healthy! • the best for an active holiday outside the beaten path

  My daughter (14) and I (53) did three activities this year with One Foot Forward in Andros. The Paleopoli waterfalls via ferrata, the rock climbing lessons at Exo Vouni (Korthi), and the river trekking to Gerolimni. It is very difficult to convey in a review how amazing all these activities were! The guiding team was composed of Ariana (the leader), Alexandros (the climber) and Iosif (the volunteer photographer). These guys do not just take you to a tour or activity, they share a story and an atmosphere with you. But you have to be willing to listen and discover! it is not about "been there done that" and taking a selfie to prove it, it is about experiencing the best that is island has to give: pristine nature, diverse landscape, unimaginable beauty. I have been going to Andros for decades, and we have a house since the early 2000's, and still this year we enjoyed it more than ever because of these guys. The group was very well composed every time, although during the Gerolimni tour it was high season and the number of participants was not negligible. The guidance and instructions were excellent, informative and interesting. We never felt insecure for a moment. All three activities that we did were physically demanding, none of them was just a walk in the park. However Ariana will always try to put together a homogeneous group, and will adapt as necessary. Bottom line, if you want an active holiday that will not feel off-the-shelf, but will be a true experience, any activity with One Foot Forward is not to be missed!
