We start at the iconic Big Fish, standing on the very ground where Belfast’s story began. Beneath your feet lies a rich tapestry of history, myth, and intrigue. From here, our journey through the streets of Beal Feirste unfolds - a tale woven with shipbuilding, rebellion, and a cast of unforgettable characters.
We’ll trace the flow of the River Farset to Custom House Square, explore the hidden alleys of The Entries (and their scandalous past), and pause outside some of the historic establishments that keep our city lubricated with a beverage or two. Along the way, expect to encounter stories of resilience - from St. Anne’s Cathedral to the powerful legacy of Frederick Douglass and Mary Ann McCracken.
Whether you’re a history buff, a curious wanderer, or just in search of good craic, I hope this tour offers a fresh take on a city that’s small in size but mighty in character, and has one heck of a story.

I had the absolute best time on this tour! Michael was incredibly patient and accommodating, making sure everyone felt comfortable and got the most out of the day. He was so kind and genuine, and his passion for Belfast really shone through as he showed us all the city’s highlights. The tour was well-paced, informative, and full of fascinating stops. On top of that, the group I was with were the kindest and most welcoming people — it felt like traveling with friends. I left with wonderful memories, a deeper appreciation for Belfast, and a big smile on my face. Highly recommend Michael to anyone visiting! Ireland is my 43rd country, and I really must say that the kindness of the people of Belfast is absolutely unmatched. Just genuinely so warm and welcoming.

Our tour guide Michael gave an interesting walk through Belfast, seeing and hearing about some of the important buildings and history. We heard about the troubles, a bit of politics and religion, Churches and some murals and pubs along the way. Michael even gave almost 30 minutes extra tour time.

Michael was fantastic: full of energy and enthusiasm for Belfast! We were a small mixed group of 6, and Michael took care to ensure every one felt included. His open style made it easy for us to ask all kinds of questions and he gave both fun and sincere anecdotes about Belfast, her history and her future. Although a 5:30pm tour, we were so engaged, we went over the scheduled time! If I could give 6 stars I would!
