Goreme Open Air Museum
One of the top attractions in the region, this outdoor museum contains the remains of many churches carved into the famous Cappadocia stone. Of note are the many excellent frescoes that can be seen when exploring the various structures.
Avanos
Lunch in Avanos which is known for the pottery, a craft dating back to the Hittite period. The red clay which is worked by local craftsmen comes from the residue in the Kizilirmak River, the longest river of Turkey.
Fairy Chimneys
Pasabagi (Monk's Valley) A stone-sculpted wonderland of billowing tuff cliffs and towering fairy chimneys; Monks Valley is the postcard image of Cappadocia and it’s every bit as compelling in real life. Named for the Christian monks who once hid out in the rocks, the valley’s UNESCO-listed landscapes are both a geological wonder and a key part of Cappadocia’s history

Visit the Pigeon Valley. See spectacular view of dovecotes (pigeon or dove houses), old abandoned cave homes and old Greek houses of Uchisar and Ortshisar Castle, the biggest mass of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia. 4.30 pm.

Ihlara Valley
We will take will take a pleasant 3 km hike through Ihlara Valley, a natural green canyon as deep as 100 meters at some points. There you will see cave churches with some unusual frescoes and enjoy lunch by the river.
Selime Monastery
Our tour will go on with another movie- set-like place, Selime Monastery. At first look, the monastery looks like a castle, but shelters, churches, chapels, bedrooms, storages and big cathedral proves us its being a monastery. You get information about the monastic life in Cappadocia.
Belisirma
1 hour for the lunch in the valley, next to the River. You will start with the soup and salad, later you will able choose one of the main dishes from the list. Lunch will be over with season fruits.
Derinkuyu YeraltI Sehri
After driving about 40 minutes, arrival to Underground City. This underground city was firstly used by the local people as a natural deep freeze, later by the late Romans as a shelter against potential Arabian invasions. With the clear explanations of your guide you will spend almost 1 hour here.

5.00The views and destinations were amazing, breathtaking and very unique compared to other travel experiences. I really enjoyed this trip with my family. 5.00We just had our awesome, amazing time in Cappadocia, Aug 26-28 with our tour guide Safak. We were able to do the Jeep Safari, Hot Air Balloon and The Turkish Night! The Jeep Safari were so cool! The drivers are friendly and took really good photos! The Hot Air Balloon was indeed breathtaking, nothing like anywhere in the world! The Turkish Nigh was fun, dancing to Turkish culture and the entertainers were really good. Thanks to Safak for a wonderful Cappadocia experience. He is very calm, doing his best to give in to our (many) requests and always smiling! He is truly living to his name, sunrise! 🤗

5.00Fun and exciting experience on a jeep safari in cappadocia. This was well complemented by flying in a Hot Air Balloon to get an aerial view of the landscape there. The fairy chimneys were awesome. Goreme Open Air Museum was a testimony of the hardship of early Christians who lived in hiding. Their holiness was captured by the murals painted in the caves. Pigeons were raised for their droppings which were used to grow crops for sustenance. The Kaymakli Underground City was interesting and challenging to navigate. We witnessed the tunnels, grain storages and deep ventilation holes.

5.00Our tour guide, Mr. Safak Karacaoglu aka Turkish Johan, malaysian comedian, was very informative, funny and great guy. He shared his knowledge very clearly. Family had wonderful and memorable experience during hot air balloon, jeep tour and other attractions like the valleys. Awesome experience! Mr Safak is very knowledgable, approachable and helpful guy. He even bought my father a shaver which my father couldn’t find one. Well done Mr. Safak.

5.00It was a great experience and as the weather was on our side, our group manage to take the hot air balloon. Mr Shafak our tour guide, is very detailed in informing us on the process and pre ampt us what to do and advice us accordingly so we somehow able to know what to expect. The view is magnificent and awesome. And of course the best experince to be high up on air without any worry. The jeep experince were also awesome. The drivers took their step to the next level in helping us taking nice photos for memories. Overall, im loving the experince in cappadocia be it the underground city, chimney city. Turkey indeed a beautiful country and I will come again. Thank you Turkey.

5.00I would like to comment our tour guide Mr Shafak. He is very friendly, patient, vey detailed, clear in explaining/sharing the history for each city. Easy to communicate. Our stay in Cappadocia was awesome and the view in our hot air ballon was magnificent. We also enjoy our jeep ride. It is so worth the time and experience which we would like to share with our other family members to come to Turkey.

My personal favourites are the hot air balloon and jeep rides in Cappadocia, being able to see the beautiful sunrise and landscapes from different perspectives. Our guide, Shafak, shares alot of info in a fun approach and hisfriendliness makes the whole trip enjoyable. Thank you Shafak and also to our captain, Yakub, who drives us around the entire journey for this memorable trip! Will definitely return to Cappadocia and Turkiye in the near future!
