I had this day trip around the main island of Viti Levu with guide Mr. Peni on 20-Nov. Mr. Peni picked me up from the hotel in Nadi at 6:00 AM and first we went to the second largest city of Fiji - Lautoka. You can walk around a town or Mr. Peni can also drive you around and explain on the landmarks and life there. Driving clockwise along Kings Road, we were passing by some towns and places, Mr. Peni explains a lot on them - at some places you can request a stop for photos (such as Fiji Water factory!). Breakfast (included) was in Tavua town around 8 AM - chicken/mutton with rice and coffee for me (optional). We've reached Suva, the capital by lunch time where we've eaten (included) right in the heart of the city - at Thurston Gardens. After lunch I had 1.5 hours to explore the old colonial center of Suva (don't forget to visit Grand Pacific Hotel to read about Queen Elizabeth II visits there!) before we head back to Nadi along Queens Road. Mr. Peni also drove me around Suva to show other landmarks like President Palace, National Stadium and nice views over the capital. We came back to Nadi by 7:30 PM. You still can request any stop for photos along the way back - there are nice beaches and can catch sunset, as well. Thank you very much for the tour! It's good to see the entire island and how people live, not just by going to Suva and back the same road.
