5.00When selecting a bike tour this Summer, I was interested to see Romania as I had never been previously and was aware that there is some great riding to be enjoyed. At the outset when planning any such trip, I find the tone of communication is a key factor before deciding to actually commit.I was immediately reassured by the information and attitude of the company with this helpfulness extended throughout the trip. On arrival,I was very impressed by the BMW 850 GS which was in excellent condition,said with good quality tyres.I have experienced a variety of rental bikes on other tours but this was the best. Without going into detail of the trip,there was generally great riding with some mountain sections being spectacular .Plenty of things to see from fortified churches to wild bears.The only mainstream tourist attraction was Bran castle,famed for Dracula etc.Massive crowds and tourist tat meant that it was not a highlight for me but the box was ticked. Accommodation was generally quite simple but perfectly adequate.I enjoyed staying in the historic,Germanic towns. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this trip and may well return to do another.
