  By far the best tour of our entire trip. due to winds the ship was delaying transfers. I kept the informed and they were so kind. i heard others arguing with other companies. We had no issues and got to see so much more than other people. easy to locate after tender and lift to top. If you book with this company, you will be a very happy tourist! He took us to the blue domes and tourist photo spots before crowds. then we got to go to Akrotiri, red sand beach (cliffs), and the black sand beach (beautiful) . we also got pastries. We had plenty of time and returned early. (thank goodness since lift was down due to winds) scary walk down and very slippery. We would not hesitate to return.

  If you’re ever in Santorini by ship or plane, I highly recommend Around Travel and private guide Theo - took us from one end of Santorini to the other hitting multiple cities and beaches plus up the highest peak in just over 4 hours! He was friendly with good communication, and somehow managed all the spots we requested plus a mountain top viewpoint added in. I am so grateful for his efforts to make the most of our limited time. Separately, if you’re arriving by cruise ship, consider taking a tender/bus option that takes you to the other port area and skips the walk up the hill and the cable car line. If you do go to the cable car, give yourself at least one hour!

  

  

  

  

• Santorini in half a day!!!

  This was my first time in Santorini, and Joanna and Manuel made the experience unforgettable. Our flight landed early and they were already there waiting for us, which was such a relief after traveling with a toddler. They also provided cold waters, which was a thoughtful touch and very appreciated. Throughout the tour, they shared so much history and insight about the island in a way that was easy to follow and truly enjoyable. They recommended a beautiful spot for dinner—and wow, it did NOT disappoint. They were incredibly patient and friendly with my toddler son, the car was clean and comfortable, and they even added an extra stop since we still had time left on our tour. We felt very well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend booking with them!

  We did not love Santorini so much. It's pretty on one hand but on the other it's volcanic and not green. Luckily it was the end of the season and there were no crowds so it was nice to see what we had heard about for so long, but no return is planned. The guide was fine but seemed tired and there was not much to say. So it's checked off the books, as it were.

  My dad who has mobility challenges and I had a great day exploring Santorini with Vasilis. He helped as much as he could with my dad getting in and out of the vehicle, and treated us like family. He understood the terrain in the city was very difficult and tried his best to help us get as close as possible to the tram car going down to port, and was always only a step away to provide an extra hand. We only had 4 hrs together but saw so much of the countryside. Lovely day.

  

  

  

  

  

• Grand Tour

  This was our second trip to Santorini and we decided it best to take a personal tour of the island this time. Dimitris was great! A native of the island he new how to drive the narrow roads and what to highlight along the way. Basically he took us from end to end. Unfortunately for us but fortunately for the island we ran into well needed rain upon ascending to the monastery. However, Dimitris took us to a winery to compensate for the weather. We found him so friendly that we invited him to join us inside. Probably due to professional decorem, he declined our invitation. We don't know if we will be fortunate enough to visit a third time. However we are satisfied that this second trip was enjoyable and that we better understand the history and people of tis special place.

  there were 6 of us in a very small vehicle. The fan blowing in the back was so loud we couldn’t hear a word the driver said. One person in our party hit his head trying to climb in the back. It was so bad he had a terrible abrasion and great pain radiating down the side of his face. we were taken to Oia and let out on our own. Not enough time there. Then we drove and drove around the island . Was not fun. At our request our driver took us to a restaurant and we did enjoy good greek food. The price of $95 each was not equal to what we received

  Theo was our driver/guide and very knowledgeable about the island and all the best spots. We went to several locations and had some time for lunch and shopping . Highly recommend
