A thorough tour of Santorini

5.00Our. guide was a young charming. man called Fotis. He was very knowledgeable and his english was very easy to understand. We covered most of the key areas of Santorini. The bus was small enough to get us everywhere we wanted. my highlight was seeing the Church of 3 Bells in Fira, and of course, walking through the very crowded and picturesque town of Oia.

3.00The tour guide was friendly but young & inexperienced. She did not realize that she should have waited for the group to exit the bus to begin speaking & giving information. She even left behind a couple in OIA before they could see where the group was walking to. Perhaps some more training would help her.

5.00Do this activity when you first arrive to get a good idea of what you want to do in Santorini and get a layout of the land. The van and the tour guide was great!

4.00My mom and I loved this tour! Shuttle from the hotel and back to the hotel was provided. They also had water as well. I loved the stop at the cafe, definitely recommend the honey wine! We did the half day sunset option and if I could do it over again I would book the day option instead. I felt like we were very rushed in Oia. We ended up not taking the transfer back to the hotel because we wanted more time in Oia. Around sunset it is bananas and if we had gone back with the group, we would have only had one photo opportunity and hardly any shopping time. Also with it being at sunset there is little time for photos and explore! Definitely do the day tour if you want more time in Oia while it’s light out!
