This tour leaves Port Zante, The St. Kitts Marriott or any other place agreed upon. It takes you through the very historic town of Basseterre. During this part of the excursion, you will see our old churches, the Berkley Memorial (The Circus), The Indepenedent Square and The War Memorial. While traveling in a westward direction, we will stop at the Romney Manor Sugar Plantation. It was owned by the great, great, grandfather of Thomas Jefferson - the third president of the United States. After that, the next stop is at the Brimstone Hill Fortress which is a UNESCO world heritage site and is also the British Military Head Quarters of the 17th and 18th century.

What To Expect
Tatem's Taxi and Tours
This tour starts at any requested areas of the island and travel 10 miles to the historic western side of the island.we make two stops. The first is at the Romney manor plantation/Batik shop then at the brimstone hill fortress. We then travel in the same direction towards Timothy hill overlooking the south east peninsula viewing the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Seas. From this point we travel to your starting point or any other drop off point.

5.00We had a wonderful tour of St. Kitts with our amazing guide. It was great to have an experienced local guide who grew up on the island guide us to numerous special spots on the island. These included the petroglyphs, Wingfield Estates and Plantation with the aqueduct that powered the water wheel which crushed the sugar cane. We also visited the Old Rum Road distillery, Romney Manor which is now the home of Caribelle Batik and the not to be missed Brimstone Hill Fortress which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thanks for a great day on St. Kitts!

5.00What a great day! We saw so much of the island that we would not have otherwise seen. Mr. Tatem is responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was great learning about the island from someone who truly knew it. He answered all of our questions and shared the history and present day information of the sites we visited and those we saw along the ride. Highly recommended!

5.00I’m so glad we contacted Tatem’s Tours! Tatem (his first name is Toussant) was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He was flexible when we requested a couple unscheduled stops and was also had some funny and fascinating stories about St. Kitts and Nevis. He made our tour so special for us and our children. I’d absolutely reccomend him for anyone travelling to St. Kitts.

5.00While visiting St. Kitts on our RC Cruise we used Tatems Taxi & Day Tours to coordinate our day tour on the island.. Due to a scheduling issue Mr. Tatem wasn’t able to do our tour but ensured us that we would be extremely satisfied with our tour guide Randy. Randy spent the day with us on the tour of the coastline and historical sites throughout the island. Randy explained everything in detail & answered every question along the route about the history on the island, including the importance of knowing how the island has evolved over the years. Randy is extremely knowledgeable and definitely enjoys providing information about his wonderful home. Our entire family had an amazing time, including many laughs along the way. Randy was a true professional and definitely enjoyed providing detail about the history of his wonderful island! Randy is a top notch person and definitely made our experience wonderful!

5.00Tatem was amazing. Right on time, great communication. He tailored the tour to our desires and what we had already seen. He was knowledgeable and more than willing to share information all day long. One thing I loved right off the bat was his driving. He was extremely safe and maneuvered that van through the tiniest spaces with no problem. I felt so comfortable I forgot to put on the seat belt multiple times. Without hesitation book this tour.

5.00I was very happy to have selected Tatem’s Taxi and Tours. Toussaint was punctual, courteous and very professional. His tour bus was immaculate and well prepared with the precautionary measures for COVID-19. I was impressed! The tour was narrated and I learnt a lot about his Island as he shared his immense knowledge. He made picture stops along our journey which allowed me to capture memorable moments. Two must go to places are Brimstone Hill and the Romney Manor. My tour was a delight! I highly recommend using Tatem’s Taxi and Tour when you visit the beautiful Islands of St. Kitts and Nevis.
