- Review from Viator
We visited Rhodes with our children and teenage granddaughter. We had a full day tour booked thru Viator which was far better than all of the tours that we had taken thru the cruise ships in prior years. Our very friendly and knowledgeable guide Diana and our safe driver and true gentleman Nikos both were excellent. The tour was very well paced and equally interesting for seniors and teenagers, we skipped the lines, the attention to detail was incredible. Once we just mentioned that our granddaughter was celebrating her 16 birthday. We didn’t ask for anything, but when we arrived to the winery there was a bouquet of flowers and a gift waiting for her! Then right in the middle of our wine tasting the sommelier was interrupted by the winery owner, who appeared with a birthday cake and 16 candles. He said a beautiful toast and the other members of our group , our guide, driver and winery staff all together were singing Happy Birthday to her. That was such an emotional and memorable moment for our granddaughter and for all of us. We managed to experience sights and sounds that we do different from prior visits. Rhodes has much more to show than we expected, saying nothing of people who live there, their hospitality and professionalism
