Group size is small, and intimate.(This is NOT a 15-20 person big group tour.). We take our time and set our own pace! I am a mature guide, with years of professional experience in higher education and guiding.

What To Expect
Stockholm Old Town
Starting from our rendezvous bike shop in we will first stop at City Hall to take in the magnificent views, inner courtyard, and architecture. We will continue towards the city center, passing by Gamla Stan; the Old Town, on our way to Riddarholmen to enjoy breathtaking views of the City Hall from another angle as well as look out toward Sodermalm. We will talk about Ridderholmen Church, Birger Jarl, Gustav Vasa, Queen Cristina, the founding of Stockholm, and major historical events. We will swing back through Old Town, visit the main plaza, great church, and pay a visit to the statue of St George and the Dragon before moving on into the city. We will also pass by my favorite peppermint store! Did you know peppermint was invented in Sweden? We will then continue on to Djurgaden at a leisurely pace soaking in the boardwalks, the easy bike lanes trees, passing by Skansen, Vasa Museum, Prince Eugen Palace, The National History Museum and more. At each point of interest, we’ll stop share a story and take time for photos.

5.00Philip is having great bike tour in Stockholm ; he combines historical insights with some fun facts and is trying to make the experience as customized as possible. It might not be the best tour for a group of 20-ers , but once you are in the age timeframe 30-65 years this is highly recommendable.

5.00Phillip was a great guide. We wanted a longer tour to really see as much as possible and the tour did not disappoint. Phillip kept it interesting, humorous and engaging. He encourages guests to get to know each other while sharing tidbits of history, culture, architecture and more. It was a great experience. Casual pace with time for a Fika and conversation. It’s a great way to get to know Stockholm on your first day of the visit!

5.00A great tour to start a Stockholm visit. Philip gives a great overview of the cities must-see and must-do areas in a relaxed, easy going style. Also, you learn the ropes on how to safely cycle in the busy city. And, Philip has the uncanny ability to get you into the cafe for a quick fika just before it starts raining.

5.00Philip was a great guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable, taking some time to introduce himself and get to know us. This made the tour feel very personal and we talked about many aspects of Stockholm and Swedish culture. We stopped for coffee and cinnamon rolls mid way! The route was easy and brought us past Stockholms main sights. Loved it! 5 stars from all of us!
