Program:
8:00 AM – Departure from the meeting point
8:45 AM – Checkpoint, vehicle change (300 meters walk)
9:00 AM – Arrival at Big Almaty Lake (1 hour for sightseeing and photos)
10:15 AM – Return to the checkpoint, vehicle change
11:00 AM – Drop-off at the meeting point

5.00I had awesome experience. Adam is a great guide and I learned so much from him about city of Almaty and Kazakhstan history while he was driving to the lake. Best of all you don’t have to walk for hours and uphill to get to the lake. You will be driven right next to it. Yes, no climbing, huffing and puffing… You will have one full hour at the lake to take as many photos as you like. And the icing on the cake, Adam uses drone for additional pictures/videos.

5.00the lake is stunning. the water is turquoise. its very serene and feels unreal. choosing the car all the way to the lake was the best idea bec we arrived earlier than everybody else who are walking. they said walking will take 6 hours round trip. the road is steep and narrow. you should be physically fit. biking seems a little scary to do bec of sharp curves. highly recommended to take the car instead. kudos to Mr. Yerkin, he's very kind and also gave us drone shots and free tea.

5.00Lovely day. Big Almaty Lake is gorgeous. Turquoise water, blue sky, snow-capped peaks made for amazing views and photos. Yerkin was a wonderful guide and so helpful providing information and helping my wife who has mobility problems. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped everyone off anywhere in town he/she chose. Small group of enthusiastic travelers added to the experience. If you have health problems I would recommend the car option.

4.00A great tour in itself. Our guide told a lot of things about Kazakhstan, but important organizational things, the return time and important rules at the lake were not mentioned, so it was a bit chaotic in the end. All in all, the tour was worth it.

5.00Had an amazing day! Pick-up was very smooth and on time. The driving was safe and the guide was very nice. Almaty Lake is absolutely beautiful! A must visit when in the area. The guide also brought some tea and sweets and a drone to capture footage of the lake. All in all a very good trip!
