5.00Excellent boat. Great whale watching, snorkeling and a super friendly crew. We got there early and had a full two hours to snorkel. That’s not a guarantee on all trips due to the seas or anything out of their control but the fact they didn’t rush us out of the water was super nice.

5.00Had a great time here! Most beautiful coral reefs in the state of Hawai’i, saw about 10 different types of fish, a sea cucumber, sea urchins, coral reefs, and I even saw an octopus. Would definitely recommend.

5.00Absolutely astounding snorkeling in this bay. We are not experts but were very impressed, must-do on the Big Island. Bryce and Kwami were awesome! Spotted a bunch of whales and dolphins. Lunch was the best we had of tours on this trip.

5.00We had an amazing experience on the Hang Loose Boat Tours – Captain Cook snorkeling tour! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The boat itself was spacious and comfortable, which made a big difference compared to some of the smaller boats we saw. It was easy to get in and out of the water, and having an onboard bathroom and a warm freshwater shower was such a bonus. On the way to the snorkel site, they provided snacks, and the ride along the Kona coastline was beautiful. We were even lucky enough to see whales breaching - an unforgettable sight! At Captain Cook, the snorkeling was fantastic, and all equipment was provided, which made things simple and stress-free. Lunch was a great spread of delicious sandwiches, chips, and plenty of non-alcoholic drink options. The crew truly made the trip special - caring, cheerful, and full of interesting information about the area. When we were anchored in the bay, the boat’s slide and diving platform added an extra layer of fun. Such a great touch! We are so glad we chose Hang Loose Boat Tours — it was the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and outstanding service. Highly recommend!

5.00Captain Bryce, Jordan and Kiwami were entertaining, informative and chill. Fantastic experience! The music was a highlight I didn’t know I needed and from snorkel, to lunch, to seeing whales and spinner dolphins, the day was one of the best days of the vacation!

5.00The captain and crew (Bryce, Jordan and Konami) were awesome and made sure we got close up to the spinner dolphins and the many humpback whales! We got a video of a breaching whale! The snorkeling was amazing at Captain Cooke - lots of different kinds of fish! Lunch was very good too. The price is very reasonable and worth every penny. Overall a wonderful experience.
