Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SWIMMING AND SNORKELING EXPERIENCE OR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET IN THE WATER!!!

MUST BE comfortable in the water, be comfortable using floatation if needed (we have Ride Along option available for non-swimmers)

Must be in good health and fit condition, must be able to climb a short ladder

Due to the nature of this tour and the safety of all guests, the tour operator reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are intoxicated or show signs of intoxication. If, as a result, your tour is canceled, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Absolutely fantastic experience. The boat and staff were great and always ready to help. Only thing for people to know is the marina bathroom will be closed when you get back and the local gas stations close restrooms by 9.

The Manta Ray Night Swim in Kona exceeded every expectation. From the calm boat ride out, to learning about the manta rays’ behavior, to slipping into the warm water under the stars—every moment felt surreal. The manta rays came so close you could see every detail as they looped and danced through the lights. The crew made us feel safe and comfortable, even if you’re not a strong swimmer. Hands down one of the top wildlife experiences in Hawaii and something I’d recommend to anyone visiting the Big Island!

So much fun and Captain Jacob and crew were exceptional! They insured our safety and we're so courteous and responsive to individuals that needed a little more assistance. Of course we saw plenty of manta rays, make sure to follow crew instructions and make noise to attract them! Very highly recommend for a unique adventure.

We booked our excursion through Viator and was a quick and simple process with easy cancellation if needed. The overall experience with the rays and crew were unmatched, definitely an experience we will all remember. Jacob, Vince and Koa were amazing and incredibly knowledgeable of these indescribable creatures. Will recommend this excursion to anyone going to Kona!

Amazing experience swimming with the mantas. Saw about 20+ of them. Multiple were so close they would bump into you. Drinks and snacks provided. Snorkel gear and wetsuit provided. Just bring yourself and a swimsuit.
