Absolutely amazing! This is an experience we will never forget. Did this with my two teenage boys (16 and 13). Both were a little nervous about what to expect when I told them we were going to swim with the manta rays at night. They imagined being in a pitch black deep ocean and not knowing what lurked beneath. It was not like that at all! Once we arrived at the correct spot they were immediately relieved to see a few other boats there and the lights in the water making it glow. We felt very safe and the staff did a great job making sure everyone got in place at the boards and providing extra help and attention to people who stated they weren’t the strongest swimmers. Seeing the mantas was absolutely incredible. I’m not sure what was more exciting - seeing these incredible creatures so up close and personal (literally within inches!) or hearing my boys explaining the entire time “This is amazing!”, “This is incredible!”, “here they come again! Look! Look!” None of us will ever forget having this experience together. Thank you to the crew for such an amazing night!

This was my second time joining a manta ray night snorkel trip on the Big Island, and I’m so glad I gave it another go! My first experience was a bit overwhelming—the ocean felt so dark and deep, and without floatation equipment, I had a hard time staying comfortable in the water. But this time was completely different! The crew made sure everyone was well-equipped and felt safe. They provided pool noodles to each guest, which made a huge difference when swimming the short 10-foot distance to the floating board. The water looked like a calm, glowing pool, and I felt relaxed and secure the entire time. Seeing the majestic manta rays up close was just as magical—if not more—when you're at ease and fully present in the moment. Thank you to the wonderful crew for making this experience unforgettable. Highly recommend, especially for those who might have been nervous the first time!

This experience is absolutely spectacular. Super fun and bumpy boat ride to the middle of the ocean and a very safe environment to encounter Manta Rays. They swim super close to you enjoying plankton. I’m not a good swimmer but I was given a life jacket and a floatie and felt extremely safe.

We absolutely loved manta snorkeling. The mantas were amazing. I would highly recommend doing a manta snorkel just maybe not with this company. Our boat had a ton of people on it so we had to sit on the top area of the boat. That was fine except it’s not covered and you’re sitting on large metal boxes essentially. It started raining and the waters got rough going that fast the rain felt like needles and the rough waters made it hard to not fall off of the seat. Getting in the water we were packed in extremely tight to make space for everyone so we were bumped into the entire time. People kept dropping their pool noodles and reaching with their feet to grab ours. That’s not the companies fault but I think booking less people per trip would help with that. That being said the captain and crew were extremely nice and helpful.
