  The tour was great. We hit a bunch of highlights and learned a little history. The group was fun and Big Mike was very friendly, engaging, and helpful. Lunch was great, there were quite a few menu options and everyone enjoyed their meals. The farmers market had a ton of different products and all were better priced than the tourist shops. I would definitely recommend this tour.

  Big Mike was the perfect tour guide. As a native he knew the area and understood so many things that he shared on the excursion. When we signed up for the tour we wanted to have an enjoyable day learning about Hawaii and having fun. This tour met all our expectations. I highly recommend spending the day with Big Mike. You will not regret taking this excursion.

  Absolutely wonderful big Mike And did a great job. I know he’s a small tour operator, but that’s the best easier than booking and driving in a big bus. We went all over the whole Hilo town side of the island of the volcano is area lava tube, all kinds of places that are larger tour operator couldn’t have taken us. We had such a good time and he was so entertaining thank you.

  Booked the Tour with Big Mike from Lehua Tours. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Gig Mike was very knowledgeable and passionate about his Island and the Hawaiian way of life. Having grown up locally makes a big difference in your guide. Mike went well beyond expectations and actually had the Kilauea volcano erupt on my birthday. Coincidence? He did deviate from the agenda when the park ranger informed him of the volcanoes' activity to make sure we had the ultimate experience. If you are fortunate enough to visit Hilo, make sure you contact Big Mike @ Lehua Tours, he will make you experience memorable.

  Entertaining, Informative and a very fun filled tour. The host , Mike was friendly and courteous and really goes out of his way for you to experience this island. The group size is 12 and under , which is perfect

  This was an Amazing tour. The attention to detail was amazing. Big Mike was great with narrating what we were seeing. The lunch that was included was extra special pieces of local Big Islands cuisine. The walking is limited so even someone with a disability could experience the Volcano National Park. The hand made lei were a special memento for this very special trip

  Great tour of the big island!! Big Mike was the best tour guide we’ve had on our trip here in Hawaii! Took us through to the places he grew up going to which was really cool! Super nice and energetic guy. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone new to the area!!

  Sad Thing is you not gone see what they showing you lava in pictures, but park was open n we show lots of smoke , big mike was Awesome, he give lots of information n little Hanna road was beautiful n both water falls is perfect
