Amazing Scenery and Smooth Tour Experience in Almaty

5.00Our tour to Kolsai Lake, Kaindy Lake, Charyn Canyon, and Black Canyon Kazakhstan was really nice. The scenery was amazing at every stop. Our guide Ali was very welcoming, informative, and spoke English well. Communication was easy and we had no problems during the trip, including food arrangements. Everything went smoothly. Highly recommended.

5.00We booked the Big Trip tour with Kazakhstan Almaty Trip and honestly can’t praise it enough. I highly recommend it. Everything was so thoughtfully planned, from the pickup to the well-timed breaks, and the schedule for each stop was spot on. The driver (who we were told is also the owner) drove very safely, which made the whole journey feel comfortable and relaxed. There were plenty of water bottles provided, and he even treated us to chocolates, which was a lovely touch. Our guide Laura (hope I’ve got the name right!) was fantastic. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the trip. She shared interesting insights and really brought each place to life. The UAZ vehicle itself was quite an experience! It added a bit of adventure to the trip. It’s definitely fun, though as mentioned on their website, it might not be ideal for anyone with back or spine issues. The scenery at Lake Kaindy and Lake Kolsai was absolutely breathtaking. Learning about how the lakes were formed made it even more special. And Charyn Canyon. Wow! We were completely blown away. We walked all the way down to the river and back (around 3 km each way). It sounds tiring, but we barely noticed it because the views were just so mesmerizing. We timed it just before sunset, and the canyon glowing in golden light was unforgettable. Big thanks to the whole team. Wishing them all the very best!

5.00Absolutely unforgettable experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We were picked up on time at 5:00 AM, and the whole day ran smoothly. We visited a beautiful flower field (with amazing drone videos!), the breathtaking Kolsai Lakes, and the Black Canyon. Horse riding was optional, but the team helped organize it easily. The final stop with traditional local products (kurt, honey, butter) was a very authentic and pleasant finish to the day. Transportation was fast and well-timed, and we had enough time at each location without feeling rushed. The driver and guide truly did their job 100% - professional, attentive, and very well-coordinated. The guide was also engaging, informative, and spoke two languages, making everyone feel included. Tip: bring cash with you, as in the mountains card payments are often not available. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Almaty!
