This was an amazing ride, the climb up was steep but we rose to the challenge and it made the way down so enjoyable. We stopped for lunch with delicious baguette, cake and fruit. Lots of water and drinks were provided. The scenery is stunning and the guides were wonderful. Vin gave us some great tips to conserve energy going up the mountain. We had a great time!

A fantastic day!! This is an amazing experience that first took us by car up the mountains over Dalat with stunning views. Then we hopped on comfortable bikes with our very friendly guide Vinh. It was the just the two of us and the guide, really ideal! One of us liked the uphill (at the start) and the flat (in the end) effort very much, and loved the intensity of the 3km slope taking us more and more into a cold and windy fog, only to then be richly awarded by the gorgeous landscape opening up when the fog dissipated on the way down. The other one in our couple is a fast descent rider, loving the thrill of the very, very long descent, but finding the hot flat bit in the end once you reach the coast more challenging under the sun. Overall, you should probably be in good shape and be ready both for cold and rainy, hot and sunny weather, but most of the day is definitely spent going downhill! During the whole time on the mountain winding road, I only counted 10 buses and about 5 trucks, and they and the few cars passing by were surprisingly respectful and slow, so no fear to be had about traffic. I felt safe and could really enjoy the experience the whole time. This is a superb way to break free from long distance bus and train rides in Vietnam, do some exercise, have some fun and take in the landscape!

An impressive cycling experience from Da Lat to Nha Trang. Considerate and trustful guide and support vehicle. Must try activity in Da Lat! You don't need to worry about the physical strength. It's not really hard to overcome the interval uphills. It's worth a try. Before starting the journey, staff explaining the route and teaching us the mechanical and safety advices of the bike. It's REALLY important for the following route. Staffs offered us sufficient mineral water and bananas as supplies while we cycled. Always keep an eye on you if you need any help, shift gears on the bike while rides up the hills, adjust bicycle seat position, take a rest and find a good photo spot. Staffs prepared Bánh mì, fruits and traditional cake at lunch. During the route, staff explained the minority culture and showed us coffee tree, cicada and edible bird's nest. Highly recommended!

I’d like to highly recommend this beautiful area to cycle. It was a challenging itinerary for a biking beginner like me. On the way to Nha Trang from Da Lat , we passed by a national forest park with an awesome scene. Besides, the several uphill sectors made me almost gave up . Jack who is the tour guide had tried his best to encourage me, so I could completed the whole trip and enjoyed the great awesome view from the top of mountain. The bikes were pretty nice and in perfect working order. After all, even I finished this itinerary with my whole body sweating and sore muscles everywhere. I have to say it’s worth to have a great scenery like this.

We joined the one day cycling tour from Da Lat to Nha Trang. Our support vehicle collected us from our hotel at 730am and drove us an hour out of town to our starting point. The ride commences with 20km of gradual climbing (with some steeper sections), through spectacular mountainous countryside. Our excellent guide, Vin, stopped frequently to comment on any points of interest and we were able to take advantage of many great photo opportunities. The highlight of the day was the 30km of descending, which commences at 1700m altitude and finishes at sea level. The well maintained bikes inspired confidence on some of the steeper sections. On completion of the descent, we stopped for a picnic lunch. The food was great and catered to us as vegetarians. The final 20km of the ride passed through beautiful rolling hills and a number of small towns. On completing our journey, the support vehicle transferred us to our accomodation in Nha Trang. Overall, our experience was extremely positive and I cant recomend this package highly enough for anyone travelling from Da Lat to Nha Trang. Thanks Phat Tire and Vin for the this memorable day!

The tour with Lying was great fun despite the initial rain and fog weather. He took good care of us, taught us a lot of interesting facts about the country, nature and people, prepared a wonderful lunch and led the group safely and well. The bikes and equipment were in perfect condition.

Two days earlier we did the northern exposure trip with Linh and Vinh which we really enjoyed! It was a few good hours in the forest pedalling from their office in town. Then we signed up for their 70klm pedal to Nha Trang a couple of days later which did not disappoint! We were picked up at 730am from our hotel and went on to collect another couple before setting off with all our luggage and bikes in their van down the road about an hour to start our pedalling journey to the coast. Sadly the weather closed in and it was raining and foggy (after 4 picture perfect days in Da Lat) but with Linh’s guidance and knowing the support van was right there if needed we took our time crossing the pass and then downhill into clearer weather stopping occasionally for Linh’s explanation of cofffee, minority groups/ living etc..Lunch was simple but good quality baguettes, fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and pork. It’s was a great day and a good challenge and then to be dropped at our hotel door in Nha Trang was a super finish! Thanks to the team at PTV for giving us another a highlight during our stay in Vietnam 👍

We learned a lot about Vietnamese culture and uses from his explanations. Don't miss this opportunity and book it!
