  • Good itinerary, but …

The itinerary is good, the pacing is fine, but if you’re an English speaker you won’t get much education out of this tour. My guide presented lots of information in Spanish and then provided a terse summary in English. You have to stand around while he talks on and on, unintelligibly, then have minimal information provided- and no way to ask questions. I took lots of pictures of things, hoping to research everything later. For example, in Guernica: great explanation about the picasso mural but zero information about why we were looking (at a distance) of a dead tree stump in a place of honor. Or where the current tree-of-honor is located. Or what campus the dead tree stump is located on (government building? Museum? Dunno.). When we had our free time, what was the public square? Where were the notable buildings around the square?

Great tour. Adrian explained very well and open to any questions. He made the trip entertaining and even if it was a long one didn't feel like it was. Cristian was very good driving and very helpful and nice too.

It was a pleasure to meet Aman(?). He was a very pleasant young man as well as a fantastic guide on this day. I take my hat off to him moving between speaking Spanish to English back to Spanish, when explaining a range of topics in great detail. I recommend this tour for a very worthwhile day out. San Sebastián is a glorious place to visit.
