The Bioacoustic Ecotourism project, which includes the Play Flora, Listen Fauna and MIX tours, is a pioneer in proposing the sound of Nature, specifically from conservation areas, and the music of plants as a key resource for activities to strengthen environmental awareness and the reconnection with the intelligence of Nature.
With the recordings of the tours we are constantly feeding the Sound Map tool, with which we do citizen science and help conservation in a sustainable way, through bioacoustic monitoring.
We highlight that bioacoustic tours are experiential experiences in Nature and also generate high-quality sound products hosted on Soundcloud and that each participant takes as their own vibrational medicine.

What To Expect
We present two innovative tours that create a closer link with nature through the sounds of the forest and the music of plants, the bioacoustic tours: Listen Fauna and Play Flora. The Listen Fauna tour allows us to preserve our tours in Nature in 3D audio of 360° binaural, through the use of recorders and microphones specialized in recording soundscapes. The Play Flora tour allows us to communicate with plants in real time through a device specialized in converting bioelectric signals into musical notes, we will interact with plants, shrubs, trees and forests through music. What is it about? These are half-day tours of approximate duration, with a low to medium level of difficulty and a high presence of wild soundscape. The tour is done with the facilitator. The entire experience is recorded in audio and delivered to the participants through a link to the Soundcloud platform with geolocation on Google maps, which can be accessed from our website. Here we offer the MIXED version that integrates both experiences: Play Flora and Listen Fauna.

5.00The activity exceeded our expectations. The proposal carefully integrates science, art and contemplation of the soundscape. Álvaro demonstrates technical and pedagogical solvency: he introduces listening exercises, explains the use of equipment and reveals, with precision and deep knowledge, the acoustic richness of the forest. The demonstration of the so-called 'plant music' was especially suggestive for the little ones and, at the same time, stimulating for the older ones. Silence has never sounded so good. The tour is calm, safe and well structured. The small size of the group favors personalized attention and respect for the environment. A genuine, almost tacit commitment to Mood conservation is adopted through a different experience, closer to an outdoor masterclass than to a conventional tour. If you are in Oxapampa, or nearby, take this tour. It's worth every minute.

5.00the tour was amazing! I was intrigued as it looked original and I love being in nature. But it was even better than I expected. Both parts of the tour were immersive yet totally non-invasive, the perfect eco-tourism. Alvaro is the perfect guide for this, he has a calming presence but is passionate about what he's sharing. The whole tour revolves around reconnecting to nature, and I was pretty mindblown by what we experienced and learned a lot. Very special day, 10000% recommend.

5.00We did the mixed tour: The Listen Fauna in the Churumazu Forest and the Play Fora in the National Park. The experience was great, it allowed us to connect with nature and we felt part of it. It generated many positive feelings in us and definitely if you want to relax, understand and respect the ecosystem, this is an excellent option. Alvaro is a great guide, very patient and he cleared up all the doubts we had. Totally recommended.
