With us you will experience the safest and most fun way to enjoy bioluminescence on the island. It is something that should not be missed on your visit.
We offer adequate sanitation methods, guarantee of minor medical expenses up to five thousand pesos and in case the bioluminescence is not observable during your tour, we offer you to reschedule the date or we refund your money.

What To Expect
You will receive the appropriate equipment to carry out the activity previously at your place of stay IN HOLBOX. Remember to wear it when you are picked up by our guide and DO NOT carry valuables with you. Upon arrival at the location, you will be informed of the precautions and the correct way to carry out the activity. Night snorkeling will begin in the sea or mangrove, around Holbox Island at a depth of 1 meter with an approximate duration of two hours. The guide will always accompany you and will give brief explanations on topics related to Bioluminescence. Upon completion, you will be returned to your place of stay. IMPORTANT NOTES: THE SCHEDULES OF THE ACTIVITY VARY DEPENDING ON THE LUNAR CYCLE AND WILL BE CONFIRMED WITH YOU THE DAY PRIOR TO YOUR RESERVATION. THIS ACTIVITY IS SUBJECT TO WEATHER CONDITIONS AND CANNOT BE CARRIED OUT ON FULL MOON NIGHTS.

5.00Had a great time seeing the bioluminescent plankton in Holbox. Alex was so kind, knowledgeable and prepared - timing everything perfectly and providing all of the gear (which was really nice quality). He shared lots of information about the plankton and the stars/constellations and even captured some great photos and videos that he shared with us after.

5.00This was our favorite outing during our Holbox trip. Alex is a phenomenal guide. He was both extremely informative and humorous. He took the time to point out all of the constellations in the night sky before we got to the lagoon. When we arrived to our swimming spot, he was very helpful, and he even led us to another location nearby so that we could observe different types of biolumimous plankton. We loved our experience and will definitely rebook when we return.

5.00On a star filled night Alex laser spotted numerous constellations then took us to view the bioluminescent plankton on the shore line and in the water. It was magical and a very cool experience that I would recommend doing. Alex demonstrated great knowledge and everyone enjoyed the experience The equipment that he provided was first class and so was he. Very nice tour.

5.00Alex was a fantastic guide! Before we even got to the bioluminescence part, we saw the most amazing night sky I had ever seen with an amazing sight of the Milky Way. Alex pointed out different constellations. We got to see a good amount of plankton in the lagoon and it is truly magical. I recommend this tour.

5.00Our extended family had a great experience with Alex! Kids ( ages 10-16) and grownups both really enjoyed our night under the stars with the bioluminescence. Alex explained everything about bioluminescence, and we were also able to enjoy the moonset and the stars. It was a late night for some of us but definitely worth it! (And very glad we booked this rather than a kayak tour- much easier and very much able to see, experience, and learn about the bioluminescence)

5.00Alex has been an amazing guide, he knows everything about stars. We were very lucky with the weather as we had an amazing night where we saw all the stars and also the bioluminescence. Totally recommend Alex if you want to have a guaranteed nice experience.
