Friendly and helpful tour guides. We were novice kayakers and they helped us a lot. Beautiful night sky.

This was a very unique experience. Kayaking in the dark, floating in the water while looking up at the stars with animal noises everywhere. Truly special. The guide la did a great job keeping everyone safe and organized. One guide even had to tow a man and his small daughter who just couldn’t manage their own boat. Cool, light kayaking with a group and experienced bioluminescence. Crew was good and had a good time.

We enjoyed the kayaking and the night trip. However, we saw very little bioluminescent algae. We were expecting it to be much more than what we actually saw. We came from over an hour a way, we hoped to see more and were disappointed in what we actually got to see. Our guides were incredibly helpful and super nice. We enjoyed going down the mangroves and experiencing the whole trip. Here is my honest opinion. If you are close by and are looking for something fun and unique, then absolutely go. You will enjoy it, as long as you are not expecting to see what pictures show on the internet show. If you are farther away and it is going to cost you a lot to get there, then you decide if it is worth it. Overall, great experience, but not cost worthy from a distance and not for WOW experience.

Simple check in process. Friendly staff and attentive to needs of customers. Provided great history. This is not the first experience because we just live the bioluminescent bays and the whole kayaking through the mangrove experience! Do not leave Puerto Rico without experiencing it!

Tour guides were great and knowledgeable. However, I think all kayakers should have been issued headlamps or told bring headlamps

Probably better without the moon, but I’ve seen far better in New England and the PNW/BC. Chaotic & crowded too. Big disappointment for me. Our viewing consisted of pulling a plastic tarp over our collective heads and splashing water around for ~5 minutes, then heading back.

It was amazing!! Great staff and the kayaking wasn’t too hard. The bioluminescent water was beautiful ( not peak season but we were still able to see it !!)

We had such a great time doing this tour! It is important to come in prepared that this is not a small group activity where you bond with nature- there are TONS of groups doing the same thing at the same time. I knew this going in so was not disappointed, just need some expectation management. The kayaking portion was smooth and easy. I didn’t realize how many people just don’t know how to kayak, but our guide was patient with all of them. He did a great job explaining things, gave a really nice talk about the science, and then we covered our kayaks with tarps to maximize the effect. It was beyond our expectations!! I was stunned at how cool the bioluminescence was. All of my friends were giddy with it. We had a great time!! Bring bug spray and prepare to get wet!

It was enjoyable kayaking by moonlight. But I was greatly disappointed at what I thought we would see in the bay. Just a few sparkles when you splashed your hand in the water. Too expensive of a trip for some sparkling
