It's a wilder, less-visited gorge than the canyons most operators use, and we keep groups to a maximum of 7 guests per guide so the experience never feels rushed or crowded.
Our guides are trained through our own Canyoning Academy, the only operator-run canyoning school in Slovenia. Every guide also holds white water rescue certification. This isn't a box-ticking exercise. It means your guide can handle any situation in moving water, with children in the group, in a narrow canyon. That standard is higher than the industry requires.
We accept children from 120 cm, the lowest minimum of any canyoning operator near Bled. Most competitors start at 150 cm. If you have younger kids, this is likely the only tour they can actually join.
Pickup from your Bled accommodation is included, full-size photos are delivered after the tour, and every jump is optional. Nothing about this tour requires you to be brave, just willing.

What To Expect
Your guide and driver pick you up from your accommodation in Bled and transfer you through the Julian Alps to Jerečica Canyon in the Bohinj Valley — a less-visited gorge away from the tourist crowds. At the canyon entrance, your guide fits everyone with a wetsuit, helmet, harness, and all safety equipment. You'll receive a full briefing tailored to your group, including any younger participants. Our guides are trained through our own Canyoning Academy and certified as white water rescuers. The descent through the canyon takes between 2 and 4 hours. Along the way you'll slide down natural rock chutes, jump into emerald pools, and abseil down the steeper drops using ropes. Every jump is completely optional — your guide always provides an alternative route for anyone who prefers to watch. Groups are capped at 7 guests per guide, so the pace is set by your family, not the other way around. Your guide photographs the key moments throughout. After the tour, full-size photos are delivered to your inbox via WeTransfer. GoPro video is available as an optional add-on for €25. After the canyon you change into dry clothes and your driver returns you to Bled, typically within half a day.

5.00Nice introduction to Canyoning, communication in advance also fast and helpful. The trip from meeting point in Bled to canyoning location was quick and comfortable and we could leave dry clothes, towels and drinks there so that we could get there immediately upon returning. For the first time all facets can taste what tastes like more. All in all a top afternoon!
Canyoning with the family was so much fun!

5.00Our family had been canyoning only once before, but all 3 of us loved it, so we went again at Lake Bled. My daughter was 15 and both of us are in our 50s. The staff was very organized and professional with all the gear we needed and it was all in good condition. The water was low along the canyon due to it being the end of summer, but our guide did an excellent job adapting the trip for the conditions - including a jump from a foot bridge at the end! Great time and I highly recommend it.
Very nice activity to do with the family. It was challenging enough, but definitely doable for anyone with some guts.

4.00Definitely recommended! I went along with our two sons of 11 and we enjoyed a fantastic experience. We gathered in Bled and then drove into the mountains towards Jereka. The communication and all the descriptions in advance were clear and correct, so we knew well what to expect. The guides were incredibly friendly and helpful. They really took their time, even at times when our boys were thrilled, like jumping into the water. There was plenty of room to follow their own pace, which was very nice. In addition, we had a nice group — although of course you can’t control that yourself — which made the experience even more fun. All in all it was a top experience that I can recommend to everyone!

5.00Our guide explained everything clearly: we understood everything at once and so we could safely go through the canyon. Along the way, enough photos and videos were taken that were emailed to us afterwards: totally great! Tip before you go: don't forget to look high to enjoy all nature;)
