What To Expect
Blue Hole
The Blue Hole is deep and a lot of fun for good swimmers and divers of all ages. Included in this attraction for thrill seekers is a Rope swing after which you can jump in the river pool, you may explore small caves, climb behind the water falls, go cliff diving into the river, hike along the river. you will be assisted with guides and trained life guards as you go through the property, they are eager to help you enjoy this one of a kind attraction. This last for about 1.5 hours. ■ Things you will need to take along with you: ▪︎Swimwear ▪︎Water shoes ▪︎Beach Towels After the Blue Hole tour we can make optional stops for shopping and lunch etc.. ■ For Cruise Ship Passenger: We can make optional stops at a beach for approximately 1-1.5

New Years Day Port Excursion

5.00We booked Ultimate Excursions through TripAdvisor for a port visit on January 1. The owner of the company reached out personally after I booked to verify our ship details and introduce himself. Our driver, Shamoy, picked us up in the Port Area and took us out to Blue Hole. It was a long drive from our Port in Falmouth but we really enjoyed the drive and talking with Shamoy along the way. We learned so much about the area. (If you are arriving/staying in Ocho Rios then Blue Hole is pretty close by). Blue Hole was something my kids wanted to do and the ship did not offer it as an option so finding this company was what made the visit possible. After visiting Blue Hole we asked Shamoy to pick out a place for lunch and he did not disappoint. We tried his suggestions and the whole family enjoyed. I was a very hassle free day and I would definitely recommend using this company to anyone in the area. They were easy to communicate with and very professional. Blue Hole - My kids wanted something on the adventurous side and after researching a bit we found Blue Hole. Maybe I’m wrong but it seemed to be very much a Family run operation. The staff and guides were very friendly, so much that my kids said Jamaica was their favorite tour stop. The facilities are rustic but there was a place to change. We stored our belongings in the car with Shamoy. They assigned us a guide who stayed with us, making sure everyone knew where to jump and where to walk to stay safe. Be sure to bring water shoes! Over all we were in the water about 45 min- hour. There were about 5 or 6 different jumps and a rope swing. The water was cold but not unbearable (January). It was rainy and cloudy but not storming so that added to the cold. They will allow you to carry your own camera if you want to (in a waterproof pouch of course) but they also have a photographer that follows your group. His photos were much better than mine so we purchased the lot. It was expensive -$100 but I felt it was worth it to support those working there.

5.00We chose Ultimate Excursions Tours & Taxi Service for transportation from Sangster International Airport to Ocho Rios. The communication ahead of our trip was fantastic and the owner of the company was in communication with us the whole time. Patrick (our driver) was so nice, polite and knowledgeable. Our 2 hour drive to the resort was like a guided tour, Patrick told us all about the country, its heroes, parishes, schools, etc… the ride on its own was 5 star. We decided to book a tour to the Blue Hole and specifically requested Patrick again which they happily obliged. The Blue Hole was amazing but once again, Patrick made us feel welcome, safe and like family. I highly recommend Ultimate Excursions Tours & Taxi Service, they are #1 for a reason.

5.00Ultimate Excursions Jamaica was amazing. They took care of me as well as my family and my friends Very well. Drivers are on time. They wait on you. They have a really good clean big bus. They are very patient very friendly. They have actually connections and they know a couple of guides at the blue hole as well so they helped us find the right guide for the family who helped us and the kids in the the family as well, jumping in the water, rope swing etc. very professional very friendly very honest. I have no complaints. If you are in doubt just go with Ultimate. The owner of Navar is an amazing guy.

5.00The experience with Navar was great. He took our group of seven (four parents and three teens) to Blue Hole and Dunn's River Falls. He's a great guy all around and took care of all the details at Blue Hole. I'd strongly recommend that you use him for anything that you need in Jamaica!

5.00Peter was outstanding! He had a smile on his face the entire day. He’s soft spoken, polite, and gentle. We were all super impressed by his knowledge of literally everything and intelligence. He was so amazing with everyone in the family from young to old. He did everything to make sure we had the best time and made it all look easy and fun. We will definitely come back and do this again!

5.00Booked this tour coming from a cruise ship. Was a little bit difficult to find the tour guide coming off the boat & not having cell service. Once we found Marshall, everything was great! The ride from Falmouth to Ocho Rios was about 1.5 hours. We were the only ones on the tour & the ride there was comfortable. We made one stop at a souvenir store along the way. Once at the Blue Hole, Marshall stayed with the van where he locked our belongings inside. Our tour guide for the excursion was Amit who was fantastic. I'm not the best swimmer but he encouraged & supported me through the activities. These included jumping off of cliffs, climbing up rocks on the waterfall, going into caves, & using ropes to swing into the water. Lifejackets are provided upon request & definitely bring your own water shoes as there are a lot of rocks. There were souvenir stands throughout the area & they also provided rum punches available to purchase. They took professional photos of us that I am glad we decided to buy as they're a nice memory. After the Blue Hole, Marshall brought us to a local bar where we were able to enjoy one drink. We then drove back. Throughout the drive there & back, Marshall provided us with information of the towns & culture. Overall great, beautiful experience that I would definitely book again!

5.00Navar did a great job transporting us to and from Blue Hole. He was punctual, took pictures, and ensured we were safe and comfortable. He stopped and treated us to Jamaican Patties. We also added on and visited Dunn's River Falls at no extra charge. I highly recommend.

5.00Nawar came to pick us up straight from the port with entry permits, everything is ready and in order. He took us to 2 different places and went down together with us everywhere, and then entered a local market with us to buy souvenirs. A great man was very fun to be with, reliable and took care of what we needed Highly recommend!!
