We pick you up at your hotel or lodging! A seasoned local guide will pick you up at your accommodation within 3 miles of city center (One North Pack Square) or will meet you at the Asheville Visitor Center if you are staying outside that distance. The excursion will take you through beautiful mountain scenery on the way to visit three impressive waterfalls and two protected forests as well as a scenic drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway (weather permitting) to discover the amazing views surrounding this iconic road that connects two National Parks.
We provide comfortable seating in a climate controlled van. Drinks/snacks are included.
IMPORTANT Guest should be prepared for walking approximately 3 miles on the hiking portion of this tour over a period of 2 hours, including stops at the falls and you should feel comfortable walking this distance before making a booking. The tour is not suitable for children under 12.
We will return to Asheville by approximately 1:30 p.m.

What To Expect
Blue Ridge Parkway
The tour includes a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway, (when open), an American treasure well known for its scenic beauty and remarkable mountain views. (Note: During winter months the Blue Ridge Parkway may be closed due to ice and snow)
Pisgah Forest
Sit back , relax and enjoy this stunning drive to our first waterfall in Pisgah National Forest before traveling a short distance to visit two more falls in a beautiful state forest. Along the way you'll listen to interesting stories about the rich history of the area that has been attracting people to the area for generations.

5.00We had the best day!!!! The weather was iffy as it always seems to be on vacations but this tour passed all our expectations!!! We learned so much and saw so much! It was just the right pace for grandparents and teenage kiddos!!!

5.00Such a great tour and experience. Tony was fantastic - the drinks, snacks, conversation, facts and just overall friendliness. He was kind, considerate and super helpful. We got some wonderful pictures and felt very relaxed throughout the day. Nothing was rushed. We would highly recommend this tour. We did leave with one question for Tony - what did you end up naming the new van!?

5.00Tony is a great guide! The hotel pickup is a great touch and takes the stress out of getting to and from the hikes. The spots he took us to were incredible. There is a lot of time in the car and not as much hiking, but overall it’s a great day and well worth it.

5.00This tour was AMAZING! Tony was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. His van was super clean and we felt very comfortable going through the mountains, which can be a little scary if you’re not used to it. The snacks and beverages he provided also came in handy as we didn’t get to eat breakfast at the hotel before leaving. The sites were simply breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00Great hike with Tony! The scenery and waterfalls were incredible, and Tony was full of knowledge and local history that added to the experience. Also, he is a snack expert! :D He provided a wonderful variety of snacks and drinks. He also gave a lot of time for me and the other hiker to take in the sights, the falls, and we weren't rushed or on a strict timeline. It was a really nice excursion.
