Together with Yasushi we spent a beautiful afternoon discovering Kanazawa Castle, Kenroku en Garden and Geishe Quarter. Together with him we were able to see how the gold leaves typical of Kanazawa are made. Recommended for an immersive experience in authentic Japan

Our wonderful tour guide was Aiko, who was also our guide in the morning on the Shirakawa-go tour. We couldn’t help but be with her again for a private tour through Kanazawa! Aiko was flexible with how we did our tour, either walking or using taxis, we chose walking because we had so much Japan energy (as she calls it). We went through Kanazawa castle, Kenrokuen gardens, and the Geisha district. There was so many cool details about all these locations that we wouldn’t have known without Aiko. She is so knowledgeable about Kanazawa’s history and culture and spoke with great English. Combined with her cheery personality, I can say without a doubt that she is the great tour guide in Kanazawa! We would love to meet with her again one day!
