This is primarily a walking tour. If you prefer to use public transportation during the tour, the cost of tickets for both you and the guide will be at your expense.

5.00We went to Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Gardens, and the Nagamachi Samurai District. All were well worth a visit. Aiko was a wonderful tour guide. She provided lots of historical background to the sites we visited, and her enthusiasm is contagious.

We learnt so much and were able to see so many streets and houses with a lot of history. Aiko helped us travel around safely and was very personable with all of our family. 5.00Yasushi was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable and explained Kanazawa’s history really well. He took us around the castle, the Kenroku-en gardens, and the historic geisha district, and finished by taking us to a gold leaf workshop that was fascinating. We had a fun afternoon on his private walking tour, and he brought a great energy despite the rain - we would highly recommend!

5.00We are a group of 5 adults. We just finished a perfect walking tour of Kanazawa with Aiko during which we saw all the main highlights of the city. Aiko is a wonderful guide. A highly energetic, knowledgeable and likeable guide. She makes everyone feel at home with her easygoing attitude and fluent English. We also were lucky with the sunny weather!
