Very nice drivers, drive carefully... But no cultural interest in visiting, they just want to bring us to buy souvenirs from their friends, and say not to go elsewhere. We didn't see the museums planned, had no free time in Sal Rei (but long in the restaurant, very good), 15 minutes to buy again from friends), the nature is beautiful but nothing more, not seen the fish market that I very wanted to discover. Very mixed feeling. The photo taken of a cave that illustrates the activity is also not representative. Lots of 4WD rides outside, so dust but hey, that's part of the game, for that price, very disappointed. We loved sandboarding though.. But go see the pottery, unplanned, just to buy, etc. In the pretty village, we were there just to buy at the friend's.. + tasting to buy, ...

I recently made a full-day (7 hours) tour of the island of Boavista with Spot Travel and, unfortunately, the experience was far from expected. At the time of booking, we were informed that the price would be 70€ per person, including full lunch (main dish, drink, dessert and coffee). However, in the end we ended up paying €72 per person — more than the initial announcement and also more than other participants on the same tour, who paid only €60. The organization of transport was quite uncomfortable. The group was divided between pickups (with people in the back outdoors) and a 6-seater taxi. Me and my boyfriend were placed in the two rear seats, extremely tight and uncomfortable for a 7-hour ride. We asked to change places during the journey, which is perfectly reasonable on such a long tour, but they refused — they only allowed my boyfriend to change, forcing me to always remain in the same conditions. Regarding lunch, the experience was also uneven. While some participants had access to cachupa (typical Cape Verdean dish), we were never even offered this option — just fish or grilled chicken. Being a tourist experience, you should expect equality in service, especially when we all pay for the same activity. Overall, I felt a lack of organization, transparency in prices and fair treatment of participants. The island is amazing and well worth visiting, but I do not recommend Spot Travel.

Great experience! I wish we had more time to swim in Santa Monica beach! Both the tour guide and driver were great and kind people!

In all places we visited our guide Jorg in addition to the historical and cultural explanations, also presented us with various local curiosities. The jorg was incredibly friendly and fun. In addition to this, we had access to a great lunch with drink / dessert / coffee included. I highly recommend!

Very nice tour guide, very friendly, had something to tell about all the stops, the tour went against the others, which is why you were often almost alone at the spots - really great!

Very accomodating for Portuguese, not if you are English...after first stop I was moved to a different vehicle, the driver spoke no English...this was to accomodate all the Portuguese in 'chips' vehicle...from then on received little information. We wasted so much time being shown to souvenir shops and markets being harrased to buy products that we didn't get to see the shipwreck which was on itinerary. The lunch was worse as no English spoken, all served dessert and indivually shown photos from the day apart from me.....I have travelled extensively and never met with this bad behaviour before...shame on you 'chips' Such a shame as the stops were amazing.

As a solo traveller I was disappointed in the lack of information given to me, most of the people on this tour were Portugese, luckily a few spoke English and interpreted for me but I was then moved from the original 4 x 4 so that all the Portugese could be together and was separated and moved to the vehicle where the driver did not speak English...at every stop information was given in Portugese and I was just left to follow everyone. At the restaurant for lunch everyone spoke Portugese, I had to ask for dessert, everyone already had theirs and the 'photographer' for the day showed them photos he had took, I was not included. Extreme lack of communication with me all day but spent most time flirting with the young women , we then spent ages being shown the markets and souvenir shops to spend money, where we were harrased and followed and felt very uncomfortable. Then put back in the 4 x 4 with non English speaking driver and returned to hotel. No explanation why we had not visited Cabo Santa Maria which was on the itinerary. Very poor consideration Spot Tours to someone that could not understand your language and travelling solo...I have travelled extensively but have never experienced this attitude ever before. It's a shame as we visited some wonderful places and could have been a wonderful experience.

Very nice day of discovery. Beautiful landscapes, dunes, white sand and beautiful beaches. The only improvement is to shorten the time spent in the town and village, to spend more time in the dunes and on the beach. Many thanks to Sylvie for her cheerfulness and good humor.

Our guide picked us up on time. He was very informative and very friendly. Our group was made up of only 4 of us plus 1 other solo traveller. The beaches we visited were so breathtaking. Our lunch food was very nice But a little let down by the venue. It would have been nicer to have beachfront cafe with views. The visit to the shipwreck wasn't really worth the length of time and effort it took to get there. But overall we enjoyed our day out,
