What To Expect

We meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and we take a public bus to Mismaloya, a beautiful town 25 minutes south of Vallarta. At the beach we embark the boat to start our journey to Los Arcos: 5 impressive islands in a protected natural area and a sanctuary for birds! In the caves we will learn about the fauna of the natural reserve, among others the great variety of birds who nest on the islands. Afterwards, the captain will take us to a special and safe area where we can snorkel and learn about the great variety of marine fauna that inhabits the coral. Before returning to Vallarta we take you to an iconic place in the history of the city. *Some days the visibility and currents in the water can vary and may affect the amount of fish we can spot. **Min age: 5 yrs/max: 70 yrs ***Cruise ship passengers: take into account possible time difference between LOCAL time vs BOAT time!

This excursion was really enjoyable! When we finally made it to the beach where the boat left from, we were greeted by our tour guide Sebastion and our boat driver Gustavo. They were both fantastic and helpful throughout the experience. Sebastion was very knowledgeable about the area and made sure we had the best possible experience! Both rate 10 out of 10! I would highly recommend this tour with the following important information: The instructions on where to meet were not easy to understand and caused our group to miss the connection for our tour. Only thanks to a very nice taxi driver were we able to get to our tour location and enjoy the day. An address was given for where to meet the tour bus, but it was not made clear that the location to meet the bus was a 30 minute taxi ride from the port facility. So plan at least an extra 30 minutes to get to the tour bus when going on this tour.

Very glad we booked this. A little adventure like this is always that much better when you have a guide like Bruno. Very personable, great English, knowledgeable. I signed up for this excursion to see the boobies (birds ; ) ) but there was so much about this adventure that was great!

Very short boat ride to 1 cluster of 5 islands. The tour guide was not very personable but did a fine job of navigating the group. Snorkeling was in a very small roped area but there were fish swimming all around us. There was no coral visible. Overall, I think it was a little overpriced for what the trip provided.

We loved this tour! The guide was fun and knowledgeable. The tour was just the right amount of time balanced between a boat tour of the islands and snorkeling.

This was so much more than a boat and snork tour. You get to hang out on this awesome little beach with great food. You may even see a whale. Guillermo and his team are so knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. You're in good hands with them

We had such a great time with the rest of the group and our tour guide, Guillermo :) It was my first time snorkeling so our guide made sure I was completely ready and knew what to expect diving in. Very knowledgeable and personable. This is a must take trip with anyone, even by yourself! <3

Yaramo was excellent and insured we were all briefed on our activities and guided us on were to go. The highlight of the excursion which was a snorkel was sub standard. There was very limited visibility which also hindered us to see any waterlife. The water was very rough, life jackets were too big hindering people to swim. I get that rough seas are unpredictable but the company could have at least offered a credit towards a future snorkel.

Excellent experience from beginning to the end. Andres and Bruno the tour guides are very nice, welcoming and vigilant for your safety. Communication was great and efficient. The boat tour and snorkeling was a lot of fun and educative. Definitely worth every penny.
