  If you’re visiting Kinsale and want something that captures the magic of this place, book a tour with Kinsale Wellness on Water! We’ve now done the tour with Brian five different times because every time family or friends come to visit us since moving to Kinsale, this is the first thing we book. Without fail, it becomes everyone’s favorite part of their trip. Yes, the harbor itself is stunning, the history, the coastline, the view of Kinsale, all of it is exactly what you hope Ireland will feel like. But honestly, what makes the experience so special is Brian. When people come to Ireland, they’re not just coming for the scenery. They’re coming for the people, the stories, the humor, the warmth, and the personality that make Ireland unforgettable. Brian absolutely has all of that. He’s funny, wise, welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and just one of those people you instantly feel comfortable around. And then there’s Alfie, his dog, who somehow manages to make the whole experience even better. The tour itself is packed with little moments that make it feel unique and authentic, dropping a line in the water for fish, checking lobster pots if you’re lucky, hearing stories about the harbor and local history, and just slowing down enough to really take it all in. It never feels overly touristy. It feels real. We honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. If you want to experience the real heart and soul of Kinsale, this is it.

  We had the best day out on the harbour! Brian is hands down the best tour guide we've ever had. He knows every nook and cranny in Kinsale like the back of his hand, and he kept us entertained with wild stories and secret local facts that im sure you wouldnt find in any guidebook! We finished the day fishing out by the bulman buoy and we were only delighted to catch a few mackerel. Couldn't recommend this boat tour enough, do yourself a favour and book yourself in for a trip if you visit Kinsale. You won't be disappointed!

  We had such a great time with Brian and Alfie. We were a group of 8 including 2 seniors and 4 young kids. He did an amazing job navigating the waters and making it fun for all. Do not hesitate to book this tour!

  Captain Brian and First Mate Alfie are the best! We recently stayed in Kinsale for 5 days with great friends and the entire trip was filled with stories of the past, laughs, and new memories!! The highlight was the sunny morning spent on Kinsale Harbor with Brian and Alfie. Brian has an amazing story telling ability but it was his love of Kinsale and sea that connected with us. Alfie provided lots of cuddles and made sure we all felt safe. Thank you Captain Brian and Alfie!!!

  What a fantastic experience from start to finish! Brian and Alfie gave us an unforgettable day exploring the beautiful waters around Kinsale. From checking the lobster pots to trying our hand at fishing, every moment was hands-on, fun, and informative. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and Brian’s local stories brought the landscape to life in such a personal and authentic way. You can tell Brian genuinely loves what he does and takes pride in sharing it with others.   Brian and his sidekick Alfie took us on a great tour of the Kinsale Harbor and Bandon River. There were ten of us and Brian took great care of us. This was an outstanding way to learn about the beautiful Kinsale area, and if I did this again, I would definitely go fishing with Brian. He kept us entertained throughout the tour with his humor and great storytelling. I highly recommend his boat tours. Thanks again, Brian, for a great day at Kinsale!

  Looking for a memorable outing? ‘Wellness on Water’ is a MUST! Our Kinsale boat ride was absolutely amazing! From the moment we stepped on board, everything was smooth, safe and welcoming. Captain Brian and First Mate Alfie were the best hosts. Brian went above and beyond to make our trip to Ireland unforgettable! He communicated thru WhatsAp and actually addressed our whole grof 12 ladies to answer all our questions and work the best time between golf for our afternoon adventure! Brian is so charismatic and funny. His Irish stories, local Kinsale knowledge and nautical skills was one of my best memories of Ireland. Earlier that day we toured Fort Charles by land. That afternoon we saw it with Brian and Alfie from the water. We also saw the point where we had played golf at Old Head. (Thanks Brian) I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time!   Brian was a boatload of fun! Our group of 10 ladies had so much fun that it was hard to get off the boat when the time was up. Brian was very knowledgeable of the Kinsale area and kept us entertained with his stories and Kinsale history. His furbaby Alfie, was quite gentle and greeted each of us. Thank you Brian for an awesome experience. I highly recommend you contact Brian for your boat tour. You will not regret it!

  Every trip we've been on we book a scenic water boat tour. This by far has been the most enjoyable tour ever-Brian might be the best tour guide we've encountered. His Irish stories and local knowledge keep you entertained throughout the tour. It was a beautiful experience for all 10 of my friends.
