The tour begins from the small boat marina in Sørvágur. On our way towards Múlafossur in Gásadalur we will pass the beautiful old village of Bøur on the north side of the fjord and from there we can enjoy the beautiful view of Drangarnir sea stacks and Tindhólmur.
Múlafossur is our first official stop where you will be able to take pictures of the most famous waterfall in Faroe Islands.

We were 2 people amongst 5 others in a 12 seater boat, out to view the Faroe Islands from the water! The crew were super friendly and took care of us throughout the trip and also were very helpful guides! The tour took about an hour, and they showed us 4-5 spots. Drangarnir is majestic. They also stop at each spot for 10-12 minutes for you to take it all in. Overall a lovely trip and definitely would visit them again. I felt that the current tour price of 650kr per person was a little over my budget, but it was quite worth it. One recommendation to visitors: If you have a chance of getting seasick, take some seasickness tablets 2 hours before the trip, as the waves can be massive. When the boat is stationary, it can be very nauseating. You won't get very wet though; expect some sprays, that's all. They gave the exact location of the start point via email, and I'm very glad they did, because as soon as we reached Sorvagur, there are 2 directions to park. Don't take the Mykines parking spot. Take the first turn on the right.

The Faroe Islands are spectacular, green-covered mountains popping out of the sea to withstand the harsh North Atlantic and wrap its visitors in the friendliness of the locals. The boat trip took us out among vertical mountain sides of rare beauty, populated by all kinds of birds and here and there also sheep managing to keep their balance on the slippery steep walls in the rays of a golden afternoon sun. The skipper of course knew exactly where to go, where to stop, and what to tell us about nature and life up there to make the tour completely memorable.

It was a cold winter's day, but we had a wonderful time. Motoring so close to the Múlafossur waterfall and the sea stacks was so much fun! Our captain was very friendly and informative. I highly recommend this, regardless of the time of year.
