We have known about Mungo National Park for some time, my wife had visited there a few years ago, and this was on my “bucket” list. The drive to Mungo from Mildura was interesting, bitumen for 70% of the trip, dirt the rest. ( rain 4 days earlier made it more interesting but fun). We booked through Trip Advisor on their new booking program and found that although we had confirmed ticketing for our 2 pm tour the guides at Mungo had not been informed, surely just a teething error. Anyway we presented our tickets to the guides and they honoured them, we has our own personal tour of the Great Wall of China, and cannot explain how fabulous it was. The vastness I’d what really is amazing and the history associated there is great. Also visited the Lookout and that is also a must. A side benefit was the number of kanaka Roos and emus we saw coming back from the lookout. A word of warning for those driving back in the evening, there a feral goats and stray sheep crossing the road.
