This was a wonderful experience to see how chocolate is made from planting the Cacao tree to harvesting and making of the chocolate. This is a hands-on experience which is highly recommended for all chocolate lovers! Tours can be experienced in the Chocolate Farm in Bohol, Philippines.

Absolutely worth a visit, even though it is two hours away from Panglao. The guide Ryan was very knowledgeable and excellent at giving the story from cacao sprout to high class chocolate. He even went to pick some fresh passionfruit for our daughter when he learned that she loves the fruit. I wish we have had enough time for the full 3 hour tour, but we had to obt for the chocolate making class. Here you get your hands on all the processes from bean to chocolate. It was a great insight and very good for kids as well. This farm is not included in any of the Bohol country tours from Panglao and that is a real shame, it was the absolute best stop we made in Bohol. Get your own driver or insist to go here on the country tour instead of the loboc river cruise!

Although the farm was closed they made it possible for us to visit anyway! Best tour ever! Would totally recommend. Pick-up was right on time, driver was extremely nice and informative. Once at the farm it feels like a completely different world. Location is amazing, host was really nice and welcoming. Picked the fruit, processed it till we had our own chocolate. Wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on this. Totally different kind of experience away from all the busy tourist-spots. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!

It was great! There were only two of us but it was even better. We learned how to make chocolate, plant it and even made our own bar that we could take with us. It was one of my dreams to open and taste a chocolate pod! We asked to see the tarsiers and our driver agreed to take us after the activity, of course with an extra tip but deserve.

Un 10. It was the best activity I ever did in Bohol. I loved it. You get out of there, you get everything. And you take the chocolate you made. He guides a great person. We went by motorcycle and very well the way to get there.

Our driver JR was informative and friendly. We arrived at the tarsier sanctuary before it opened, but were allowed in anyway. They are so cute and small! Then we went to the chocolate farm, which was incredibly interesting and informative, and we even got to make our own chocolate (and taste the beans at every stage, from raw fruit to hot chocolate and a tea made from the husks of the beans). Our final so should have been the chocolate hills, but our driver was willing to be flexible and made an additional stop for us. This was one of the best tours we've taken in the Philippines.

This was a fantastic tour. Very well organized and felt very well thought out. I'm so glad they brought us to the actual tarsier sanctuary which is more out of the way but totally worth it! The chocolate making experience was super educational and very interesting. Our driver/guide JR was very willing to share information with us as we went around the island. He was even flexible with us and let us add on an extra stop. This was one of our favorite tours we went on in the Philippines

I had a great time on this tour! The guide at the farm was very knowledgeable about growing cacao and how it's made into chocolate. And my guide for the full day, Fronie, was happy to answer my questions about the Chocolate Hills, the Tarsier Conservatory, and life in Bohol in general. I definitely recommend this trip for chocolate lovers and those looking to experience the nature of the island.
